She always yells at them threatening that she's gonna slap them in their face.

She grabs them and carries them by one arm, she doesn't do much to help them learn, she didn't even toilet train them yet. She doesn't make them wear any top most of the time, even though my parents keep telling her she should.

Once a women saw her slap her daughter in the face for wondering off. The women told her it wasn't her daughters fault, but she yelled back about how it's her child and she can raise them how she wants to.

Her and her husband are lazy, he doesn't care if his children are being hurt. He blames the writers going on strike for not having any work, so he can't provide for his family. Get a job, there are even unemployed lawyers working at burger king. So they make an excuse, the kids are my parents weak spot. My sister comes here and steals our food and goes, when I said something about it. She got all pissed off like it was my fault.

Oh and once my other sister saw her ...

As mentioned in previous questions, I came home last night and smacked my wife across the face, knocking her onto the couch when she asked why I got home so late. I don't want to hurt her and I am extremely ashamed of this behavior. She ran to her sister's.

I am under constant stress as the owner of a dental business / dentist. Work was tough yesterday. I'm not using that as an excuse. It shouldn't have happened but drinking complicated it and now here I am afraid my wife will be too afraid to return to me.

Is there ANYTHING at all I can do to make it up to her? ANYTHING? Please, I am extremely desperate or I wouldn't come onto one of these sites. I'm just looking for some quick responses. Thank you.

My fiancee will sometimes drink a beer on his way home from work (about two times a week). He also drinks a few at night. He is not a heavy drinker really, but I am starting to worry. I have had a boyfriend in the past to die after drinking a few beers and driving home after watching Monday Night Football, so this worries me and makes me think of what could happen again. Any advice? He doesn't see anything wrong with this.

If you have a college degree would you date someone with just a high school diploma or nothing at all? If so why? if not why?
Or what about if they have some college but that was all?

And for people with just a high school diploma, would you feel bad dating someone with a college degree?

My best friend has not been eating as much as she should and she always complains about her weight and feeling weak. She's already thin and pale, but latly she seem to look sickly pale and thin. I am worried she is not eating. I have a cousin who has an eating dissorder and I notice my friend doing the same thing my cousin did when she started. I have asked her about it and she says she is eating but I do not believe her. Her perants do not really care about what she eats and what she does not eat, so telling them would be a waste of time. The school has already asked her about it and she said she was fine. I am I over reacting? should I believe her and leave it alone?

I’m 27 years old and a Virgin. Now there was a time I couldn’t care less about this! The only thing important to me were: taking care of my mom, hanging out with family, sustaining a job, enjoying my favorite hobbies (i.e. reading, writing, watching movies – I’m a huge movie buff of classics and contemporary films) and ultimately staying out of trouble. I’m not someone who wants to lose their virginity just for the sake of it. I’m not a weirdo, but I do suffer from anxiety and have morals and standards. For someone who’s lived a substantial part of his life away from peer pressure until recently, I feel like it’s catching up with me big time. I have guy friends (all seem happy with themselves) who have F*(k buddies and girlfriends. They constantly brag about their sex life to me and each other. It’s all about what they did, and how long they did it. They know I’m a virgin and they tell me: “You’re going about it the right way but you’re missing out on the best sex of your life!” Sex – as we all know – is discussed and shown needlessly on TV and elsewhere and all of this has made me very depressed recently; making me frustrated with my life. To some extent I even feel jealous. I’ve stopped hanging out with those friends and I’m now trying to adjust mentally on my own without negative thoughts about myself and feelings of loneliness. I feel like I shouldn’t be around friends who feel the need to brag about their sex life as if they’re complete morons who have nothing else to offer. I’m a little bit more mature than that. Do you think I’ve responded in the right way? In this sex crazed society what can one do to not feel bad about being a virgin?

I have a fear of getting old. I'm afraid that I'm going to become bitter with age because I'm a generally unhappy person. I try to keep a positive outlook on life, but the negative always takes over. I'm also an anxious person in general. Basically, I had a rough childhood. I was abused and never made too many friends. Both of my parents have already left this world, and I'm only 27. I sometimes feel very alone even though I have a girlfriend who I love very much. I feel like my past is going to dictate my future, but I truly don't want that.

...treat women a little better than the other guys or the opposite? My father was an alcoholic and was beating my mother, I think that's why my brother is VERY polite and understanding against women.

How about other guys who grew up in a troubled home? Just curious...

My boyfriends ex wife told him in July (before we met) that she would buy him a very expensive game system that he had been wanting for Christmas ($500). I told him that I would not like it if he accepted it and to tell her no. I dont think it is ok for him to accept something from her that I cant afford to get him. Am I wrong?

okay so i am one of those people who believe in soulmates, always have been, but i was a little iffy about how young you could find your soulmate.UNTILmy friend Katie told me this story.she had just moved here when she was four years old, she woke up one morning(they had only lived here in Virginia for two days)and the first thing she told her mom was "I'm gonna meet my best friend today."and her mother was doubtful, as i'm sure any parent would be but Katie went and set out on thier driveway for two hours..and anytime her mom would ask her to come in she would reply "no, they are gonna come i know it" well like i said after two hours of sitting and waiting a little boy rode by on his tricycle and stopped and asked her her name. she told him, he told her his name was Jason.and after Jason set down with her she looked at him and said "your favorite color is blue."she was right..and then she said his favorite number and was right agian.they knew eachother before they had even met!

I was recently transferred to a different department after being in the same one for 4 years. I love all my girls in my old department, but it seems that lately a few, or specifically my old supervisor, has been avoiding me. I confronted her about it, asked her what was wrong, and she said that I'm acting like I'm better than they are, and don't talk to them. After I confronted her about it, I felt MUCH better and thought things were fine again. Well, she's still avoiding and glarring at me, not her usual self. What is this about?? I've confronted her about it once, what else can I do? Where is she getting her hate towards me from? Can't stand the drama, and don't know where it is coming from..

Please give me advice! Thank you

about a month ago, my hunband threw me and my 2 kids out. I am staying at my moms which is a block away from my house. We are getting a divorce because he cheated. Him and his girlfriend decided to split about 2 weeks ago. Now he asked me if i can come back home. he assured me that we can still get a divorce but he just wants me and the kids home for the sake of the kids. I dont know what to do cuz i dont wanna go back home and get into fights infront of the kids. Also, he didnt want us living there until today after he talked to his lawyer. Do you think the lawyer told him something that would make him decide he wants us back home?

I went out drinking last night. Usually if I drink, I drink at home and I don't go overboard. Last night when I came home, my wife asked why I was out so late... I wasn't thinking clearly and I smacked her across the face and onto the couch.

I have NEVER hit her before and she is scared. She went to her sisters. I don't want to lose her over this. I have never raised my hand to her before. What can I do? I felt bad immediately, but my apologies were not enough. Please I need advice.
