It's always interesting to sit in a cafe and see who is attracted to whom. Some quiet guys cannot stop staring at the loud, vivacious types, for example.
But personally, what scares me is that only older men (thirties) find me attractive or the ones where I would, mentally, give them a gym subscription. I'm in college--much too young to be in any sort of relationship with an older man--I just don't find that attractive. Plus, it's creepy to boot!!
Is my case the one where I'm too plain and must wait until I'm older to find find a boyfriend?
Also...for kicks, do you notice a type of guy (artsy, athletic) always staring at a certain type of girl?

its almost christmas n i want my mom to get me a psp. but shes alrdy said that its too ''expensive''. she says has never bought me a present that "expensive" b4 n doesnt think she will. im hoping if i get good report card marks i can convince her. my bro has one but he plays most of teh time n lets me play in exhange of washing his dishs. idun wanna do this anymore n want my own. what can i do to so dat she'll get me one? or...what can i do to get my bro to get me one answers perferablly ways to get from mom.

i broke up with my boyfriend of 5 years a few weeks ago. the thing is we broke up because we had alot of stupid arguments and little fights. i am going to see him this weekend to speak to him and really want to get back with him as i really love him so much and want be with him, but he just thinks we only will argue and fight. how can i change his mind that i do not want that never again and want to make a fresh start and to know how serious i am with him and we could get relationship counseling and advice. please help. thanxs

Just yesterday I was hanging out with my friends at the mall. Everything seemed normal and perfect being that we were at our favorite place, doing our favorite thing---> Shopping! Then out of no where, someone started shooting. The shots were so loud and felt like it was right by my ear. I was running and had no idea where too. Everyone was running and screaming. Mothers and their children, etc. It was so scary. Like something in a movie. I mean you turn on the Tv and heard about crime all day. But you never think that one day you'll be caught in the middle of it or even a victim of it.

It's strange how we wake up everyday...and not have the slightest clue on whats gonna happen to you or where. I woke up monday morning to get an earlier start on my christmas shopping and I would never imaged almost being shot. Thank god no one was seriously hurt. But what if? There was so many people, moms and their kids. It just sorta makes you think. This world is so crazy!

i know im not depressed but im very sad right now.

i havnt been that nice to my friends lately, so i can be more loyal and a better person to my girlfriend. but a couple days ago she ditched me. so i tried calling her, and she hit the ignore button on her cell phone 3 times. then she turned off her cell phone.
she says shes sorry, but she refuses to explain why. i try and accpet the apology, but its gonna take me a few days to fully get over it inside of me. i forgive her, its just part of me inside still is sad about it.

and today i just found out that my uncle has only a month or so to live. i called my girlfriend and she cheered me up. then she said she had to go, but i later figured out she lied. she just stayed at home but decided to go onto instant messaging and chat with her friends, but she blocked me so i couldnt kno.

im really really sad. i considered killing myself, but im not going to. please help me not be sad

I got a VERY good Christmas bonus. I did all my Christmas shopping for my family, took care of some things that I needed to catch up on, and put back enough to keep my head above water when my husband gets laid off next month (He always has a 3 week lay of fin January). I have 2 kids. I'm in college. I work two days a week, have classes 3 days a week, and between homework, work I bring home FROM work, being a mom, and taking care of the household stuff, it seems like I never do anything for myself. On top of that, I've been helping my father pay off my mother's funeral expense- we lost her in May and my Dad is on Social Security and needed financial help with that. So today, I took some of my Christmas bonus money and spent it on ME- things I've wanted for months but put off getting because other people needed things first- and now I feel guilty. Was it wrong of me to do this?

(this is a high school situation) I like this guy and I sit next to him in drama club. Well... after schol I have an x-teacher I talk with sometimes. It was like four o'clock-ish and I was talking to her. She was doing something for a minute and I was looking out the window and two kids were walking together. I felt like I knew one of them, but I couldn't make out who. Then I saw it was the guy I like! He looked at me and either looked away or kept walking or I looked away. Most people don't sit in an empty (he could have easily not seen my teacher, short woman w/ her back turned) classroom and look at people leaving at 4-o-clock. OMG IS HE CREEPED OUT WHAT SHOULD I DO

If you felt love for someone but they were irrespnsible, inconsiderate and was disrespectful to the relationship even though they love you too they just won't grow up at the age of 40 could you leave them for no particular reason even though it was terribly hurtful and if so what would you do to get yourself through it?

I understand where she is coming from but i told her how depressed i am and how i need help. She seems to think that if she has helped me so much then why do i keep doing it. He lives with his mom half of the time, and our house half the time. The kid thinks it is none of my business and told me to keep out of it, right in front of his dad. My family recently got a new younger stepbrother and since he's afraid of the dark and lightning, whenever a bad storm comes along he always goes to my sister's room and she lets him sleep in her bed. The odd thing is he's almost 12 and she's only 3 years older than him. One time, I went to wake them up and found them both sleeping nude. I know my sister is starting to be very interested in guys at her age, and a few times I heard her complimenting my stepbrother that he was very handsome and cute. I don't know if they are just innocent with him simply being scared of being alone on stormy nights, but if not, I don't want things to go a bit too far the next time my sister invites him in her bed. Confused and would like any advice or help. Thanks a lot.
