I have 2 younger sisters and an older brother. Both of my parents physically abuse us, and every day, at least one of us cries. They hit us for anything, test scores lower than a B, missing homework, spilling something, breaking something, and not obeying them. Anything they can reach they grab it and hit us with it, and if there's nothing, they use their fists and feet. They've used spatulas, drumsticks, metal trashcans, wooden sandals, stools, and countless others. They've left bruises on me that lasted weeks, and I've even told my friends, but they don't seem to care. At my high school, they give out folders with Child Abuse Hotlines, but my parents have threatened us that if they get arrested, we'll become orphans and live on the streets. They are "pastors," and they justify their actions with Proverbs 13:24, 22:15, and 23:13. Please, I know that you guys probably can't do anything to help, so I just want to know, is it true? Will we really just be left alone with no guardians?

My husband and I don't have a lot of time together. He works at night and sleeps all day. We spend the weekend doing things with other people, never alone. I was happy because I thought today we were going to be alone and go shopping together, but he has told some friends of ours to meet us where we were going, and we spent the day with them. I just want to spend time alone with my husband and son sometimes. He got up early this morning to go hunting, and so last night I only got about 15 minutes of his time (if you get me) and tonight our son fell asleep and I laid him down, and he was already going to bed. I told him that our son was asleep and that we could be alone, and he said "I'm going to bed, I'm going hunting in the morning again, and I need sleep" I was upset and said that all I wanted was a few minutes to sit together and talk, and he said "I'm GOING to bed" and did, then got mad because I got upset! Was I wrong for getting upset, when the weekends are the ONLY time we can

hi, im a 38 year old woman. i have a younger cousin- shes 15. we were never very close until around last year, when she called me for advice, crying on the phone--we talked that day for over an hour, and since then, shes been calling me and emailing me, and when i see her, she always greets me with a big hug. i love that were close now, and i dont tell her mom anything she tells me, i keep everything between her and myself. i would just like to know if anyone else happened to just fall into the role of a mentor--why do you think she all of a sudden looks up to me this way?

Hey guys... I was hoping for some advice.
I'm 20 years old and my fiance is 45 years old. I'm also a few weeks away from giving birth. I'm so happy but my mother has been going to extreme lengths to break our engagement off because of the age difference. She has gone as far as to trying to get my fiance deported back to Russia (which didn’t work because he’s here legally). It’s getting ridiculous. I thought she would stop when she found out that we were expecting, but she didn't. I know that it's a lot for her to handle, it is a really huge age gap, I try so hard to be understanding, but I can't leave my fiance for her. I really don’t want to have to cut her out of my life… she *is* my mother, after all. But I don’t know what I can do to find a solution. I’m getting pretty desperate. Any suggestions, advice?

Thanks!

im a bit lost at the moment as i dont know what the deal is with my bf, we've been 2gther for about 20months now and ive grown very attached to him as hes everything i want, but we both finished uni exams yesterday and he went off on a boys trip down the coast for a surf this wkend. I find this a great problem as really shouldnt he want to see me first, then go surfing??? his reasoning was its 2 days and then i have him for 3 months and he needs to get out of his room as he was locked in there studying for the past 2 wks non stop. I think that if u truley love some1 u would want to be with them , right???? my mother agrees with me and she put all these ideas into my head now which has got me thinking , is he inlove, he says he loves me but i think theres a difference. Or is there a point u get when your in a relationship that u are comfortable to do as u please?? He has never ditched me for his mates before and he thinks if he wouldve stayed that means our relationship is unhealthy

I broke up with my fiance this morning. We moved in together last April. He has this habit of going out to a friends house, getting **** faced not coming home till 4-5 am. I express my concern because he drives drunk when hes going to these so-called friends houses. We have argued about this many times. I recently told him, I don't feel like he's my best friend. He's a mamas boy and has a son he babies.(read past question) Last night was it for me. I cooked my butt off for Thanksgiving by myself. I was like a robot in that kitchen. The drinking started about noon. I admit..I had a few too. No matter, I listened to music and cooked away. He left with his friend around 9pm and didn't come home until after 5 am. I begged him not to go anywhere, after bringing his friend home.but he did. He never even ate any of my Thanksgiving food. My feelings were so hurt. He/ his son are moving back home to his mom and dad. I couldn't take it anymore..He/mom coming Sunday to pick up sons things for sch

My mom got her leg amputated about 1 1/2 months ago and last week the hospital called me and said to pick her up because she was being released (she has no home, car, or money, her husband left her few days before she got her leg amputated) So I said okay...thinking she would be able to get around because she told me she did real good with the walker.Anyway, I got her home and she is extremely immobile. She is about 270 pounds and I am a 160 pound woman with 2 kids, one 2 year old and one 4 month old.I had no idea what taking care of her would be like. She needs my FULL attention, and with 2 kids, its taking A LOT out of me.I CAN'T DO IT.She has fallen a few times and I strained my neck trying to pick her up...I have to help her go to the potty every time and she even had a bowel movement on my floor which I had to clean up.She has no medicaid and No other family.WHAT THE HELL DO I DO WITH HER.I am in tears, exhausted, drained and I don't want to break her heart but I just can't....

My friend invited me to spend Christmas Eve with his family. This is the first time I'm meeting his parents. We're not officially dating, but people sort of assume we are, so I'm preparing to be introduced as his girlfriend. I'm nervous, because I'm naturally shy and don't say much in conversations. Normally I'll just sit back and watch, but I want to make a good impression because I'll probably be seeing a lot more of them. Any suggestions?

For example, I'm a Scorpio and according to the astrology, Cancer and Pisces would be most suitable for me. The two guys that I dated that were each a Cancer and Pisces proved to be the ones I had the strongest feelings for, but we didn't last. Now I'm with my husband who is a Tauras--and the one not recommended for me according to the astrology. We are different, sex is great, but the emotions I feel for him are not as powerful.

What has been your experience?

Not seriously dating a guy.

We had an accident.

I am pregnant.

We haven't talked much. We haven't seen each other since the announcement.

Is this it forever or is there a small chance we'll be at least friends.

i am two months. i told him October 14th i was pregnant. i saw him twice (once was to drive me to the abortion clinic & once was for a quickie that i called for...)

Ok... so ONE prob I have is that the guess wanna third the bill which is FINE! but! they have personal refrigerators on aside that we have a big one in the kitchen. I had one before we has to start paying PGE by ourself and I decided to remove mines being that I knew it would consume a lot of energy. I told them this fact and they decided to keep theirs, which is fine but they are not willing to put in their third plus a little extra; 5 dollars for their Mini fridge. do you think I'm wrong for asking them to pay extra and/or what should I do? Remind you... the bill is under my name! Thanks in advance!
