hi, im a 38 year old woman. i have a younger cousin- shes 15. we were never very close until around last year, when she called me for advice, crying on the phone--we talked that day for over an hour, and since then, shes been calling me and emailing me, and when i see her, she always greets me with a big hug. i love that were close now, and i dont tell her mom anything she tells me, i keep everything between her and myself. i would just like to know if anyone else happened to just fall into the role of a mentor--why do you think she all of a sudden looks up to me this way?

it may be because she is getting older and realizes that you could give her some great advice. she probably likes having someone who's older than her to give her advice about things that you may have gone through that she is dealing with now. i was kind of like this with my sister, she's 14 years older than me and we just recently got to be really close

I feel individuals can consider unfastened to have the opinion that they desire. They must be in a position to precise there opinion, and people who pay attention (which must be tons of individuals) must have an open brain, and probably difference there opinion. Some evaluations would possibly not change into something, nevertheless it doesnt imply there nugatory. Even if no one treasures your opinion, you must. Its what makes you who you're.
