My partner and I have been together for 2 years. We are both in our 40's and both have children from our previous marriages. Mine are out working and very independent. His are 9 and 11. Our children are very important to us both and he has always kept in very close contact with his, driving 150 mile round trips to see them twice each week. I just wish once in a while we could have the weekend just us two. No matter how many talks weve had about it, he wont change spending Sundays with them,even when it was my birthday -which I spent withouth him!. He gets up early and arrives home very late as he insists on spending every waking moment of their day with them. I just find this all rather obsessive. I admire him for being a responsible dad, but just wish once every now it could be just the two of us at the weekend. I get along well with them but have to admit I am feeling resentful of them lately. Am I wrong to feel like this? He also spoils them and is in debt because of this!

ok i got a job and i earned all the money i have because i dont get payed otherwise i made about $370 in a month i bought assassins creed for xbox and then call of duty4 also for xbox this was all bought with MY money. my report card came home and i got all Bs ecept two grade wich were 75 and a 71. now my mom is all mad and she wont let me spend MY money that I worked for on the new game rockband for the xbox

Is this fair or should i be able to buy rockand?

He's only 14 and he doesn't care about the real life anymore. He's always playing video games and gets a bunch of Fs. He never does his homework and drives my mom crazy. I'm worried about my mom because she worries so much about it. Are there any movies I can get him to watch to show him how the real world really is? I think he plays videogames all day so he can escape reality. How can i help him? He doesn't even want to go to college.

We met around new years, she is 20, im 19, and she had a BF at the time, so we were friends. In 2 weeks I started falling for her, it was crazy, she was my first love, and with her i learned what love is, so we went to a party one day, I didnt tell her nothing about how i was feeling untill she kissed a friend of mine when we were leaving the party, infront of me (she was still with her BF at that time) , we were with her car, so we got in, n i was mad, lol, i told her how i felt n we talked for about 1/2 hr infront of my house, n she told me she sees us as friends. We didnt stop hanging out, because she would call me, n would wanna hang out, n even thought i was waiting for her to call, i really loved going out with her, or anything, just staying at her house with her family. We kissed a week later, and from then, it just went from kissing, to all the other stuff, n she still was seeing her BF, but not like before, 24/7 she would be with me. We were pretty good, the first two months.

I worked with a bank for the past few weeks.I dun work there but I worked in their office for some reasons.I saw this tall fair skinned guy and I was attracted to him.We had some eye contact and once I was locked outside and he came to help me open the door.Later on I bumped into an old friend who works there and he said that guy (E) is the son of the big boss of the dpmt.He's very rich and not married.He's only 32 but already very successful.He graduated from an imperial uni in the States.He drives a Porsche.He was even on magazines a few times!At first I wanted to add him on facebook or sth.Now I find it odd...since he's so rich...I dun wanna be one of those gals...you know.... should I just add him?But Im really afraid hes gonna think that I add him coz I know hes the son of the boss...coz they have the same family name obviously.

his family is really strict, and he has an abusive dad
so one day, his mom was driving along, and saw us walking home together. She gave me a glare, picked him up, and i was alone the rain. then he got in BIG trouble when he got home...so now his parents hate me because they think im a

I really love Christmas i really get into the whole thing but my boyfriend dose not we have been together for five years and are thinking about having our own family i am trying to teach him the what i think christmas is all about so our children know the same. i know its just they way his family brought him up and i dont want to change that but how can i make him sure that our kids will not be the same and to try and set a good example

mmk. so i am a senior in highschool and going off to college next year. my dad always played music and i was raised in a very music environment. i never really knew what i wanted to do in college until recently, which i am still not exactly sure, but i know it's something in the music field. but i was homeschooled for a few years, went to high school, went through a rough period (eating disorder..still trying to get 100 percent better) and was always a little shy and never really thought i was anything special..or saw music as anything important. I am now finding it hard to play music out without getting really self concious and don't think i should bother writing anything, cause how could i do anything different or anything worth listening to? i need some advice in not only getting over this fear, but in also getting over my extreme self conciousness so that i'm not second guessing myself forever. suggestions?

Rommates mad after 30 day notice?? thoughts??
I told my rommmates that i wouldnt be living with them by the first of January.. Im giving them thirty days notice. I never signed a lease so im not contracted by any means but they are sooo mad at me and keep harrassing me about "how could you do this to us!" all this crap...dont you think 30days is enough notice? why are they so angry? I just dont want to live there, nothing personal

i went on holiday with my boyfriend. he is fifteen years older than me and we have a daughter.i have two other children from a previous relationship .everything went well for the first few days we had a great time .then i saw a change in him. he got really jeaulous i was having a good time i was just having fun trying to make my childrens holiday special it was there first time abroad .he moaned he was tired all the time stayed in his room and left our daughter out in the hall knowing i was not in the hotel myself he went for a walk outside . then he came to find me to blame me for leaving her .when she was in his full care .i was so mad at the thought harm could of come to her i dumped him there and then ,he ruined our holiday .so i left him at the airport on the way back and made my own way home . i could not belive the change in him while on holiday .i keep asking myself why .i no i propably did the right thing but it hurts so bad how can i get over him .i have loved him for ten yrs
