I want to make a good impression?

My friend invited me to spend Christmas Eve with his family. This is the first time I'm meeting his parents. We're not officially dating, but people sort of assume we are, so I'm preparing to be introduced as his girlfriend. I'm nervous, because I'm naturally shy and don't say much in conversations. Normally I'll just sit back and watch, but I want to make a good impression because I'll probably be seeing a lot more of them. Any suggestions?

Just be like-
"Hi Mr. and Mrs. [Lastname goes here] Thanks so much for inviting me! Then sit down somewhere, and the parents will probably ask you casual questions. (e. g. How do you like having time off? or How long have you known [ freind/bf name goes here.] Don't worry. You will be fine. They don't want to make you feel uncomfertable.

1.Wear an outfit that you feel GREAT in for self confidence.
2. Make some conversation cards if you're feeling desperate.
3. Try to relax and take deep breathes when you feel your heart rate increase.
4. Smile and enjoy the night with your boyfriend!

Hello Pal;
Dress in a nice way. Just watch your table manners. Make sure you smile. Listen to them on what they are talking about or the subject matter. Don't jump in if you know the answers, if you don't, leave it and believe me that is too hard to do that. I got myself into more than one situations on that. Also you can't always have your two cents worth on the subject.
