It's always interesting to sit in a cafe and see who is attracted to whom. Some quiet guys cannot stop staring at the loud, vivacious types, for example.
But personally, what scares me is that only older men (thirties) find me attractive or the ones where I would, mentally, give them a gym subscription. I'm in college--much too young to be in any sort of relationship with an older man--I just don't find that attractive. Plus, it's creepy to boot!!
Is my case the one where I'm too plain and must wait until I'm older to find find a boyfriend?
Also...for kicks, do you notice a type of guy (artsy, athletic) always staring at a certain type of girl?

I use to have a red headed friend who had tons of freckles. First look at her, you wouldn't think of her as pretty, but once you met her.....she became beautiful! You're a good looking girl, but your inner beauty will always shine through to dazzle!

Keep your options open kid. I am an older guy. I am not attracted to you but have some suggestions if you would be willing to hear them.
Here they are:
Wear your hair back a bit. Pony tail or behind the ears. Try a darker red for lip stick and some blush for your cheeks. Use it above the cheek line to draw the attention away from your jaw line. You have a very strong jaw and if you get the attention diverted it is not as noticeable. (There is nothing wrong with a strong jaw, jsut it has to be delicately treated.) Next your eyes. Stay away from blacks and browns, use lighter greens and olives. That will accentuate your skintones and will add to the whole package. Also, use your eye shadow very sparingly. With the greens and lighter hues and your darker skin you could end up looking tired if you don't apply it correctly. Before you start any of this, make sure you apply a mositurizer all over your face. Careful around the eyes. Also and finally, make sure you use a light concealer just under your eye, about an inch from the nose. It should help accentuate your eyes and bring out a more finished look.
That is my opinion...it may sound crazy but try it and if you don't like it you can always take it off. You do however look very pretty without makeup. Just brighten up your lips and use a lighter color to accent the gloss. That should be good enough.
I hope it works out for you. Good luck. By the way, so you know I am not wacked, I work on stage a lot and apply make up and know what works in certian lighting conditions. I am thinking of brightly lighted areas for the look I have suggested.

Sitting in a cafe hoping a guy you will be attracted to will approach you is probably not the best way to find a boyfriend. If you are attracted to someone, go start a conversation. If he is in a class, ask him for notes you missed or to work on a project together or to grab a coffee after class. Also, while you appear not to be troll-like, body language has as much to do with whether you are perceived as attractive as facial features. Do you smile, make eye contact and appear approachable?

I assume we are speaking of physical attraction. There is more then just the obvious, and the obvious is not everything..
What if we didn't have an image or flesh that covers our spirit, no face that covers our strengths, a blank name that does not identify our destiny..Charles the great, or some crappy superstitions ritual that we relate to? Am I rambling on again?
But, what if? I mean, you can die trying to be perfect for any-ones beliefs or benefit, only for it to matter.......When, and for who? Maybe being hit on by stubby, old, lanky, or maybe even to young and skinny helps you mold an image of who you want psychically, haha. Good luck sweetness
Shoot for psychical, and quite frankly thats all you will get...

I think if you wore a lil more make up it would help you are very pretty and have beautiful smile some lip gloss and mascara would do you a world of good, anyways guys are dum just wait for the one u want to come along!

Maybe its because they sense that your more mature than most girls your age. Older men like maturity in a woman. Maybe its the places you hang out at?
