How would you feel, and/or how would you react, if something happened to your girlfriend, and she didn't want you to hold her?

The thing that happened/happens doesn't have to be directly towards her, but something that would normally make anyone sad or upset. Plus, she could either not want anyone to hold her, or just not you.

How would feel and/or react in each situation? What would be your thoughts 'N' what not?

Hey everyone,

I am 19 with a 25 year old girlfriend, and I am living with my Grandparents for the time being. They are both roughly 80 years old. I work with my girl, and we have none of the same days off, and have different hours as well. So, the only time I can see her is at 9:30pm when she gets off work, until about no later then 11:30pm. I do that 2 - 3 times a week. I've been goin out with her for about 3 months.

Now, my grandparents have all these assumptions that my relationship with her is affecting my work, and it's affecting other things about me. She might be moving to Texas at the end of the month, so I decided to ask my employer permission for a friday off to spend with her, which I was approved. They think that my employer would get mad or dislike me going out with this girl that I work with. WELL, half the people there are together, so I know it's not affecting my work, and plus I am one of the best employees there! Can someone just speak there mind on thesituation

My brother died recently. I am a high school student who typically makes straight A's but now I just cannot focus on school at all. I have a great scholarship comming my way for college next year, but at this rate I am going to lose it. IN fact, I am supposed to be doing school work right now!

Does anyone have advice as far as how to get through the next few weeks of school, including finals without really screwing up my GPA. When college starts next year I am worried I will not be able to focus on that either.

My brother was really young, 19 and he graduated last year. He had a terminal illness and we have known all his life that he would die young (In case that helps you all understand the situation.)

Love lost and found??
The guy that ive been wanting to start a relationship with for almost 2 years finally expressed 2 me the most romantic things that a woman could hear. Our relationship so far has been purely sexual and he never wanted something more.i was actuallu chasing him to meet and i was keeping in touch. But now he told that im the most important woman in his life and he could imagine spending his life with me and so many other things...But when i asked,so does that mean u want us to be together?he said lets take one step at a time and he didnt say anything specific about meeting up.im so excited by what he said and im really stressed about whats gonna happen next...he sounded very sincere although there were many contradictions on the facts and his view of them.for example he wouldnt admit that it was a sexual relationship and i was chasing him but he says that he knew like i was the one and hes still around...any advice??

When I was younger, I used to get beat up a lot by my older brother who is a few years older than me. I got socked hard (with a closed fist), kicked hard, hair pulled hard, plenty of verbal put downs, and even had a fairly heavy metal object thrown at and hit me in the head once. I got bad things blown into my eyes, tripped, laughed at... He would lead lots of kids in school to tease and make fun of me. He would get really angry and punch holes in the wall. No permanent physical damage, but I think that there was some emotionally at least.

I know that people claim abuse by adults, but is this "abuse" by a minor? People who knew him them (he's nicer now) seem to brush it off as "boys will be boys." Was I "abused" or did I just get the bad end of my brother's anger?

Is there something that you will never forget?

MOst of the relationship problems continue because it is so hard to get out when things go sour. Would we work harder on relationships if you were not so bound? Would we be happier if your options were more choice than tied down?

The majority identifies with statements like;
Nothing kills a love life faster than I DO,

There are things that a mate will never tell you. Some of those things are related to life just not as good with you as they wished.

So what is your take? Would relationships be better if you had to work harder to keep them instead of, I already got them through I DO now I dont have to try as hard anymore?

My wife is one of the smartest ladies I know. She is also my best friend. I love having ethical, political, and intellectual conversations with her. We just finished watching Bleak House on Masterpiece theater. After is was over we had about a 45 min discussion on the story line the characters etc. I love that she and I can do that. I would go crazy if I could not have those discussions with someone.

My brother on the other hand likes women who are not too bright and super thin and very pretty. (BTW my wife is also a hottie!) But when we try and talk to her about stuff we get into she is clueless. I love my brother but he could not handle an intelligent and strong woman. How many of you men out there like strong intelligent motivated women?

GIVE ME STARS PLEASE LOL!!!

So, you've been married awhile, the sparks have turned into embers. Things have settled down to day to day living. Maybe you have a child or two (or five)..... life goes on. What do you expect from a 'good' wife? How and what do you share and what would you rather she'd stay out of?
Your top 10 please, what makes a good wife and please state how long / how often you've been maried. ~ Thanks! I'm really interested to see hopefully a nice broad spectrum of posters.

something that baffles me, if we are in a dilema we ask for help yet we could see the very same question on here and answer it wholeheartledly which made me think to myself,,, why are we so good at giving advice yet we cant act upon it ourselves all the time. i think sometimes we answer our own questions without knowing it... i was just wondering what others opinion on it were?

I am 25 years old; don’t ask how I ended up with 8 kids & all boys as well (I married when I was 16). My wife past away last year in a car accident.

I am a marketing director so I am always on the run to design promotional ads. A nanny handles my 8 kids (I pay her £600 a week; because my kids are disasters).

They are sick, they fight, bully their teacher (My 4 year old asked her to suck his invader 99), don’t do their homework, recently they have started watching porn & start anywhere the horny little bastards. The nanny can only put up with so much. My oldest kid phoned up call girls and told them he was 16 & trashed the whole house.

My secretary deals with all my bills and I got nagged in office when call girls turned up on my bills. I have lost it.

WHAT SHALL I DO?

My boss told me to sell the little buggers on eBay or to the Italians (For a Laugh); now I am hitting on his wife because end of the day they re my kids and I love them
