How would you feel, and/or how would you react, if something happened to your girlfriend, and she didn't want you to hold her?

The thing that happened/happens doesn't have to be directly towards her, but something that would normally make anyone sad or upset. Plus, she could either not want anyone to hold her, or just not you.

How would feel and/or react in each situation? What would be your thoughts 'N' what not?

Understanding? I mean if I'm her boyfriend then I'd understand enough about her to realize why she is reacting that way. If I don't understand at the time I'd know enough to wait tell the right time. I mean thats part of growing up is controlling your emotions, so the points not to get angry or upset. Espacially if you not the one who went thru something tramatic. But it is on the girlfriend to eventually in her own time to tell me the why.... if I can't get that in time, then I'd have to start question weather the relationship can go anywhere after the occurence....

Communication is a must in a relationship for it to survive. If she does not tell me why it is I cannot hold her, I will get the impression that she does not want to be with me. In order for me to understand her (or at least try to understand her),I would need to know from her what is going on.
