usually this occurs when we are arguing. we also live togeather.

This depends on a few things. Are you arguing during this time? His there something going on with him that he is just taking out on you?
Not saying that it is okay to take things out on you, that is definitely wrong, but if one does not know how to deal with their feelings, they tend to hurt the ones they love.
Many times in arguments we say things we don't mean, so it makes a differnce to the situation as to how to direct you with an answer.
If this is a regular practice with him and you are not arguing or having any problems that are apparent to you, then you may try asking him what the problem is with him. If he is no longer interested in you, you dont' want to be with him anyway. Love doesn't always make a relationship and you are much to wonderful a person to settle for someone that degrades you and makes you feel insecure about yourself and or your relationship.
I always say to try to communicate with the individual and then do what you have to do to get your needs met. Don't be anyones door mat. Find someone who wants to ride on a magic carpet with you and will honor you for the wonderful human being you are.
Of course if you are contributing to this situation with your boyfriend, be honest about it so you guys can try to work it out or cut your loses, close that window so that the light from the new window can shine brighter on you.

Liking & loving are 2 very different things, he can love you without liking the way you behave. He may be Bi-Polar? He may just be cracked? He may be saying things he doesn't necessarily mean because he is mad? Who knows? Your best bet is to ask him.
