I believe in lust at first sight but love is something that takes time to develop.
Love at first sight is just an attraction that creates a reaction that causes the illusion of love.

Not really. I mean I believe you can see someone for the first time, and feel this instant really intense attraction to them, and feel like it can lead into something amazing, but as far as it being true love, the only way to know that is to really get to know them. Once you know them, all thier little habbits, thier personality, everything, and you still feel the way you did when you first seen that person even knowing all thier flaws then you can call it love. If you can actually stick with that person after really knowing them thats the only time it is real love, you cant fully know that it is love until you reach that point, you can sense the potential at that very first moment, but it dont make it actual love, and it is very rare for things to last when you have such a strong instant attraction because everything moves so fast in a relationship like that, and ends up being too much all at once, and you find things wrong, or worry too much that somethings going to mess it up because of how intensely amazing it is. It rarely lasts for life, thats why I dont consider love at first site to be realistic.

There is no such thing as love at first sight, there is LUST at first sight. You cannot possible love someone you don't even know. Love is not taken love is given and it's given by the other person to you. and you can only love some one when you get to know them, Love grows with time.

Sure! That happened to me and we've been together since 1984 (married since '89). It's hard to describe the exact moment, but it happens.

I used to - I thought it had happened to me. I'm a little more sceptical now, but who knows? I'll probably change my mind.
