Should new moms get a once monthly girls night?
Ok, my best friend is 24 and her child is now 8 months old. Last month we decided we needed a "girls night" and when she came home she was in a HUGE fight with her boyfriend. He says she chose to have a family and that is where she should be at all times. Her parents agree with this and basically flipped out on her when she told them she had plans for a girls night this weekend. They all seem to believe she gave up her LIFE. What do you think, is a once-a-month girls night out ok? Her boyfriend agreed to let her go after they had the huge last fight but he will not be happy about it. Help please I gotta know is this what everyone believes? I am a mother of two and I see absolutely no problem with this and my boyfriend doesnt mind me going out. Are we not normal or what? Mothers need time to relax and breathe, what good is a cranky stressed out mom ya know? Whats wrong with a couple drinks and a pack of girls having their girl-talk?

Heavy drinker or alcoholic?

A friend of mine drinks heavily all the time. They are not antisocial with there drinking but I have noticed how often said person likes to get drunk. I have talked to my friend about the amount they are drinking and they responded by saying that they are not an alcoholic but a very heavy drinker. My question is there a difference between heavy drinking and alcoholism or is this person just in denial.

The point is, Supporting Bush, is the same as Supprting HITLER.

I need help. I got my boyfriend into trouble with our dean and all he did was sit next to me doing nothing. I threw an apple at another friend becaus she took my food [i likey pizza >< ]. I dated and even lived with a guy for about 3 years. It's been over 5 years since I left him. It was a bad relationship, very verbally abusive. I found out he tried to contact me last summer and lately I've been trying to look him up online. I almost feel like I need to tell him how wonderful my life has turned out despite everything he tried to do to me. He was so terrible to me it really messed with my self esteem. I'm afraid that I won't ever feel like I'll have closure if I don't do this but I don't want to open up a whole can of worms with him. What should I do?

My boyfriend's sister is 17 years old. She's been smoking pot for years now and she even has done 3 hits of E with alcohol. Her father doesn't do anything to help and things are just getting worse. My question is, how do i get the police involved? I have evidence of her smoking weed on more than one ocacassion (pictures) and things have gotten so bad that when she is high she has all her friends over trashing the house and stealing my boyfriends stuff.

This is been going on for 2 years now and there's nothing i can do myself, the father isn't doing anything at all, infact he's practically helping by not following through with her punishment. She's out of control and this is just an extra burden on my life. Any advice would be great. Thank you in advance.

I have been friends with this guy for 9 years and he has loved me the whole 9 years, I'm not very atracted to him physically BUT when I'm with him I'm always happy and smiling I talk to him almost everyday for hours; But, I'm currently seeing someone it's pretty serious going on 4 yrs. but I can't ever be myself around him. With my friend I can sing to a cheesy song at the top of my lungs or say anything at all, not with my b/f I'm very uptight for whatever reason....Lately I've been questioning if it's love that I feel for my friend or is it the fact that I'm not happy with my current B/F??

I met this girl. We connected right away about half a year ago. Started off as just friends. When we first met she liked this guy, we'll call Bob. Well it ended up that her and I started liking each other, but the problem was she still liked Bob. I backed off cause i didn't want to lose her completely. Recently she had been saying she didn't see us like that anymore until at a party she admitted that she did see me as more than a friend and she kissed me. I backed away and told her "this isn't right because you don't like me like that." but she said she did. Bob asked her out. She said yes. So I stopped calling her and rarely talked to her. This was really hard on both of us. She finally called me and said she misses me and that she wants to go back to the way it was. I know she still likes me but she's going out with him. There is more than her to this now, it's her family and friends too. She's meant so much to me and everyone says we're perfect together. What & how do I do this?

My ex left me 8 months pregnant. Moved to better our lives with a higher paying job..I was moving there with him..he called and broke up with me..saying that he is tired of my bullshit and drama..well he tells me this now..never said a word of it before..I'm emotional because of the pregnancy..I really love him, was together for almost a decade..got together very young. I just started talking to this guy and I have called him by my ex boyfriend of 7 yrs name twice in two days. I did it yesterday and again today. He asked me was I confused and did I want to be with my ex, but I really love him and I told him that I'm use to talking to that one guy and I guess I'd have to get use to saying his name. I really don't know what to say to him to make him feel better. I don't want him to think that I'm playing with him and I'm not playing with him.
