have you ever just known that you were being lied to and you called them on it and no matter what they never told you the truth, at least not untill they felt you "needed to know" is honesty such a bad thing now days?

no its not a bad thing. not sure what youre talking about here though...my ex denied having a relationship with a coworker until my son told me he visited her house. (while i was visiting my mom) i actually 'felt' something was up before the visit (2 days)
cuz he had been acting all supportive and happy for me to be spending time away from home and with my mom and uncle.
is that on a need to know basis youre talking about?

no honesty isnt bad but if everyone was honest just imagine how many conflicts there would be. I personelly dont think at any time were humans really honest. some ppl are habitual liars and attention seekers. best thing 2 do with ppl like this is trust ur gut. if u can sense something is off and that theyre lieing 2 u and trying to use u for something, take measures to make sure your not screwed ova. for example dont associate with them, call them on it, or make sure u have info on them so if they'll think twice b4 trying to screw u ova. its weird how ppl are honest with u when u know there secret.

Yes but No ! I think "NO" because you need to tell people the truth right away. If you waited until you "needed to know" it usually only causes more problems. However "YES" because sometimes the truth really hurts and nobody like to feel that kinda hurt.

Oh yes, I have most definately been lied to like that. Its like the person would rather take it to the grave than have the decency to be honest with me. Very sad.

I wish my ex was honest with me when I found txt msgs and images of this other girl that he had on his phone, he said that she was a stalker, like as if... He cheated on me...
