At times I'm afraid of talking to people, I'm afraid of being an intrusion and that I wouldn't even know what to say when I got into a conversation. In conversations I am really nervous cause at times I can't keep up my end, same thing with phone convos. Online I'm perfectly alright but in person or on the phone my conversation skills go out the window. What are some ways I can improve my conversation skills and social skills with people? thanks so much

I really like this girl at work, the problem is that we're in seperate departments and mine does not deal with her's at all. My colleagues do not know her either.

We have made eye contact. When I looked at her as she passed my desk she ducked her head as she walked past-A GOOD SIGN?

Also I let her get in the lift before me(was quite packed) and she thanked me - again she ducked her head as she got in. She then smiled at me as the door shut.A GOOD SIGN?

Any advice appreciated....

I am 15 years old and a sophomore in high school. Lately I have discovered masturbating and have been doing it quite frequently. I dont have much privacy because I have 5 sisters so I often go downstairs to my basement and take off all my clothes and masturbate. I often download pictures off the internet of Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and others and just masturbate to them. Is that normal? Otherwise I often will just sit nude on my recliner and masturbate to girls in my high school bent over with a skirt and no panties on. I love butts. Anyway, is it wrong to do this? I almost got caught the other day by my sister Dawn. I dont want to get ridiculed for this in case I do ever get caught.

ok first of all we have a daughter and she is 2 yrs. old she left me a month and a week ago she asked for time..i said it was fine, but i really havent given her the time and she thinks thats it 1month and she will never come back. Well myspace she met her first kiss again and they wanted to see each other: i had found out thru trash...She tells me she likes him, but he doesnt know that...he's being there for her as a friend. and not to mention this had happened before where she was confused alot earlier in the relationship and she sort of fell for one of my friends that he had been giving her advice and being there for her as a friend: I love my girl and my baby so much and i feel like i need to change my life to better myself for my family because to admit it we are teen parents ,were both 17. i feel like this is another challenge that God is giving me to better myself for my family. But i just cant seem to give the time for her to miss me i just want my little family back!

My bf of 6 years and I got into another fight last night. We were out at a bar, which we frequent often. I'm tired of him always looking or should I say "gaulking" at women that are the least bit remotely attractive. I feel it's disrespectful to me. Looking at people is one thing, but when you constantly keep staring/looking it becomes very distracting to me. SO, this lead into a heated discussion regarding something he did 2 yrs ago. He went to a strip bar, and within a short time started calling this african-american 20yr old girl. Calls were every day, 4-5x daily and early a.m. (2:30 am) My bf at that time was 42 yrs old, now 44. I find it unbelievable when he says it was just talk, silly talk, and that nothing happened. What would a 20 yr old striper want w/a 42 yr old man, and vice-versa. He said he never had sex w/her. Can't get that vision out of my head, and it's now 2 yrs later.

I married at age 31 - seemed perfect for me, I got to experience single life and was ready to take the leap... I feel that people need to fend for themselves and see things in life before settling down with one person forever and caring for kids... I know it's a personal choice, but do most people agree or disagree with my thinking? It makes me cringe to hear of 17 year old kids having kids - or 22 year olds with 4 kids already. How can you give your kids good advice when you haven't even been out in the world to see what goes on?

I was in a relationship for 3 1/2 years. We seperated because of emotional abuse to me. I have one child with him and im pregnant with another one the way from him. He keeps telling me he is willing to change, and that he wants a family because he never had one (he was adopted). He also keeps saying he doesn't want our children to grow up without a father. I do love him but i don't know if he can change. He also slept with someone else which he admited since we've been seperated, he said he didn't like it. Now the other part is that my first love ever has come back into my life, he says he doesn't care that im pregnant with my second. He loves the kids as if they were his own. He says that he's cared about me the whole time and wishes I would have married him in the beginning. So I would have not dated the other guy. Now I have all of these mixed feelings and im not sure what to do. Help.

A couple of days ago, I said something hurtful to my girlfriend about something she was insecure about. The comment wasn't meant to hurt her feelings, but she took it that way. I apologized several times for and cried for several hours about it too. But she says that she's unsure if I'll do it again even though I promised her I wouldn't because I already knew how bad I had hurt her. I feel like she can't trust me anymore and it was hard enough in the beginning to gain her trust. The last thing I want to do is to lose it. I dont know what I'm supposed to now. I'm trying to give her space, but I dont want her to feel so negatively towards me. Cause I love her so much. What can I do to make up for it?

Or do you even spend time by yourself? I'm trying to be more self sufficient, but even when I try to entertain myself, my first urge is to call someone to chat, or to see if they can go do something. I recently moved out on my own, and I know I can't constantly have people over, but I'm getting kind of bored being at my house. I don't know what to do, I spend plenty of time with my friends and so asking them to come over or to meet me to do something will be over kill. Can you help?

So I have been with my boyfriend from high school for 3 years. I have came to realize that the love that I used to have for him isn't real & that I was only with him because he gave me comfort and our relationship was only routine. He works with a guy that is 26 years old and has a 4 year old kid and a girlfriend. He lawys talks about how easily he could leave his gf. I get along great with his kid and I love being around them. I find my self thinking of the man all the time and we always flirt back and forth. Is this worth pursuing because I feel that there is a lot that he can offer me as well as I can offer him. I have never felt this way around anyone before and I don't want to let it go.

I'd like to hear from others who still have semi-adults at home attending school or working full/part time. I'm trying to let go but I get the "push and pull" concept from my son. He pushes away and then still tries to hold on. I am getting SO confused! I work f/t and am home in the eves on my own. I do have activities, but I think I'm more concerned about my son's involvment with his girlfriend. There are some issues within her family structure that are bothering me. Any words of wisdom out there? Thank you.

In recent years, I noticed my body starting to change, so I went to the doctor, who sent me to a specialist. The specialist diagnosed a condition called Klinefelter's Syndrome, which is a chromosomal abnormality (Which means I am InterSexed). Not only has my body gone through change, but so has my mind. Things that used to be important to me, no longer are. They've been replaced with more feminine thoughts. I had always wondered why I felt the way I did, and now I finally have the answer.

I can no longer hide who I am and I wish to live openly as a woman. I am both man and woman, and I choose to present feminine.

Looking at me or hearing my voice you'd never know I was anything but a girl.

My family has totally abandoned me and won't talk to me - even my lesbian sister! I want to write to them to try an open a dialog up - what can I say or do to reach them?

I have had my son's name down on the waiting list for a Beavers since May 05, the same time as his friend. His friend got a place last in August 06 and when I asked where my son was on the list I was informed he was 6th although this would change if other kids with older siblings in the organisation went on the list. He is now apparently 7th and if he does not get a place before his birthday he will not get in yet there are much younger kids getting in. I feel my son is being discriminated agaist as he does not have an older sibling in Beavers - his sister is in Brownies. I am thinking about complaining.
