I was in a relationship for 3 1/2 years. We seperated because of emotional abuse to me. I have one child with him and im pregnant with another one the way from him. He keeps telling me he is willing to change, and that he wants a family because he never had one (he was adopted). He also keeps saying he doesn't want our children to grow up without a father. I do love him but i don't know if he can change. He also slept with someone else which he admited since we've been seperated, he said he didn't like it. Now the other part is that my first love ever has come back into my life, he says he doesn't care that im pregnant with my second. He loves the kids as if they were his own. He says that he's cared about me the whole time and wishes I would have married him in the beginning. So I would have not dated the other guy. Now I have all of these mixed feelings and im not sure what to do. Help.

Even with our advice, it'll all still come down to you. First you must answer these questions for yourself. Why did you start going out with the father of your children? Why did you leave your first love? then you must find the level of compatibility between and your children's father, and you and your first love. you must also weigh the personalities of both persons. In the end, you must do what is best for you and your children, not what either of the guys want. Good luck and hope it all works out for the best.
