I have been with my boyfriend for two years, and he still respectful and kind. I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend, and we have made some great memories together. I am 100% sure that I love him, but lately I have been having doubts about our relationship. He's gone a lot because our colleges are 2 hours away from each other, and when we see each other its amazing. He was gone for almost a month, and I got used to a life without him, but I still love him very very much. he makes me so happy. For some reason I just don't feel the same enthusiasm, the butterflies are gone, and I don't feel the need to hang out and talk all the time. Is it just me wanting a little bit of extra space since we've been together for so long? Why am I having these sudden doubts? Am I over analyzing everything? Do I need to just go with the flow? Is the newness just wearing off? Is this a phase? Does every serious relationship go through this?

My dad barely knows anything about him, but I know he's already decided, for me, that he isn't the 'one'. I was telling my dad as I first got to know the guy, the negative stuff I was noticing and the positive. my dad centered on the negative. now, if I ever talk about the guy I can tell my dad gets kinda mad. so now, I don't talk about him at all. I really want to date the guy, and I don't want to go behind my dad's back. I don't know what to do! and I'm afraid of having one of those talks with my dad where he gets all hurt because I'm not doing exactly what he thinks is best. It's just my dad and me and he is really protective. any advice on how to go about resolving this predicament?

Which comes first: family, friends, or boyfriend/girlfriend?
Well, my friend was telling me that my family should always come first, then my boyfriend, but there are some friends of mine who are just like family and I consider them to be.

I can't really choose which to put first, I love my friends, I love my family, and I love my boyfriend.

I consider a boyfriend to be up to par with family and friends at least three years +. I mean you can't just get a new boyfriend for two weeks then consider him part of the circle, I think that's kind of weird, but if you're been together long enough it shouldn't be an issue.

So basically I refuse to choose because they're all important to me, and I think it's kind of bullcrap how some people make me answer the question than criticize me on it. What do you all think?

I failed my drivers test for the second time, (only by one question, which is such a bummer.) My boyfriend and a whole lot of my friends know that I took it, as I asked them to wish me good luck. I am going to a party on saturday, where they will all be. My mum recons that I should lie to my boyfriend, and say that I cancelled it, and am sitting it at a later date, because I might look stupid. I recon I should do that with my friends. If they are all asking how I went, I would be getting too much sympathy. But I don't know about lieing to my boyfriend. I don't agree with lieing in a relationship. Please, mature answers only, I don't want to read about rude comments.

How long should it be before a commitment like engagement, then/or marriage should be discussed? What if the couple lives together, how long should they live together before they discuss it?

Basically, how many years do you think a couple should be together before discussing it?

my bf and me have a really loving relationship but its changed latley we argue over nothing most of the time hardly have sex anymore like just once a month and we dont even talk that much anymore i think hes going off me when we first got together we were all over each other always kissing and hugging eachother but now we hardly do he looks round me when im stood in front of him to look at the tv or computer when im trying to talk to him and then i go in a mood with him and when he sees im up set he starts hugging and kissing me and saying aww baby wots up with you and i love you and other stuff i just dont know what to do about it i want to put some spark back in are relationship what should i do plz plz help me im really confused and were going to end up breaking up if we dont sort it out as soon as we can i never want to end things with him because i love him so much so help me plz

Two years ago when I was in grade 8 some grade 9 guy would say my name in a sexual manner when he came near me, he pet my head once while saying my name in a sexual manner and i laughed in embarassment and i laugh when i am very uncomfortable. There was another time in class with the teacher there and we had to stand on our seats and he started to slide his hand up leg to my inner thigh while saying my name sexually and until the teacher told him to stop talking. All i wanted to do was punch him in the face but everyone thought what he was doing was funny and he had alot of friends and they were rather violent and vengeful like him so I didn't do anything. His actions made me very uncomfortable but im a guy and i would be humiliated to tell anyone becuause i would just be called gay for letting him do it and telling would be humiliating. What would you have done.

Wife and I are retired but find cost of living on east coast of Virginia too expensive. Real estate prices and taxes have escalated 400% in 10 years.

What is a lower cost area in foothills of Virginia or North Carolina with 1) Great scenerey, 2) Good access to interstate and international airport, 3) Good hospital and medical care (although we are in very good health), 4) Low crime statistics.

I have a professional job, make a six figure salary, help out around the house, I cook meals two-three nights a week, I help raise our children, I send my wife on annual week long getaways (I take time off from work and do the Stay at Home Dad thing), support her business endeavours, and have never abused her in any way...nor have I complained much about her complete lack of housekeeping skills or her weight gain.

I think I am a pretty decent lover; she has never complained.. We have a decent sex life, but it could be more frequent...generally once a week or once every two weeks at most.

I have asked my wife to do two things: oral sex to completion without intercourse/'payback' (I do his for her once a month or so); and I have asked her to 'go bald'. Two very little things in my opinion, but she flat out refuses. She calls me a pervert and claims I want to molest kids (which is totally not what I want?)

Am I being unreasonable in asking these things?

He cheated on me but I cheated on him first by messing around with my ex and he didn't like it but he will willing to forgive and forget and I love him to death and some people don't understand the love we have for each other. After he broke up with me and want to get back together I told him he is going to have to show me his love for me, how trustworthy he can be and how far he is willing to go to be with me! He want to take the challenge and I do to! But how do I get my friends to still accept it and still be around?

I have been with my boyfriend for over two years now, and I truly love him. He does everything every girl wants...he is a dream come true. However, lately I have been getting weird feelings, doubts, and 2nd thoughts. I don't feel like talking to him / cuddling as much as I used to, and don't quite look at him with that same enthusiasm. Whenever we hang out I am constantly analyzing my thoughts, and questioning whether or not I want to be with him. It is very confusing because I love him very much. I told him how I felt and he told me he had the same feelings about 3 months earlier, and assured me that everything was alright, that he loved me, and that losing me is the last thing on earth that he wants to do, but he told me to do what makes me happy

Has anyone else been in my situation?
Is this normal?
Is the newness wearing off?

He divorced my aunt 3-4 years ago, right as she was being diagnosed with multipscleorsis. He never talked to her throughout this time except to say "hi" at his fathers funeral and when his father was in the hospital-which was last summer. They live in Ohio and 2 days ago he showed up at 3am asking if she'd pack her bags and go to florida w/him-she did.

Why is this happening? Will anything come out of it? They are going to Disney World for a few days then to visit friends in Melbourne.

I've promised 200$ to give to my girlfriend. She keep on asking me the money so much I ask what's so urgent ? She get mad for that and asked me if she was asking me money all the time what would I do. I've answered honestly and told her that I'll break up with her because I couldn't keep up. She gets more angry. I tried to call to ask if she's mad because I didn't give her the money. She Told me no she's not mad because I'm not the only one she can ask for 200$. My ex & i went out for almost 3 years & broke up bout 8 months ago. Well, we stopped hanging out about 3-4 months ago. He lied to me about not having a girlfriend in another country. I guess they met thru friendster.com, so when he went there on march 2006 to visit his family, they also met each other in person and had dates when were were still together. I JUST found out about this last month,so now everything makes sense to me why he's changed and wanted us to really break up when he just got back from vacation.I had been wanting to break up with him but he wouldn't let me go.I just wish he did b4 he cheated. I'm finding things out myself cuz..let's just say their passwords on emails and all that are very easy to guess.Well, now they're getting married already! He's going to petition her! He DOESN'T know that I know. I've moved on too, but of course sometimes i feel this kind of weird feelings sometimes. What should I do? What do I do when i c 'em? we live in a small town.

Well, brother burst in the bedroom with his bloomers round his ankles and asked me if i wanted to take it from behind. Does he mean to have something to eat from behind a door? My uncle and I went out to Indiana and we both split all of the costs. im 25 and he's about 45 years old. We stayed at my great aunt and uncle's home. The 1st night when we were out there he decided to borrow my car to go to a friends house. It was 8pm, and he said that he would be back in 2 hours or so. He did not come back until 1230am. During the time he was gone, my great aunt was setting up beds and one was a futon. She asked me if I was taller then my uncle and I was taller so she said to take the bed while uncle mike takes the futon. I asked her if she thought if my uncle was ok with it and she said that it would be fine. When he got home at 1230am, he was pissed. He said that I disrespected him by taking the good bed. Do you think I disrespected him by doing that, or do you think what I did was ok? I did not know what category to put this in, sorry.
