Im finding it more and more difficult when i meet my inlaws. Every time we meet, if its at the shops, work, our home or their home.. i have to kiss and hug them on arrival and leaving. I dont do this with my own close family so im finding it hard to get out of this. I have tried asking them to stay away incase i catch a cold or for them to stay away incase they catch my pretend cold but they just keep on doing it....
What advice can you give to help me stop this...... I feel bad for feeling like this, but just cant stand it anymore....

my husband understands how i feel but doesnt know how to help me... they are his parents but doesnt want to cause a problem

we live in a small apartment and she is over here almost every day. my bedroom, which is on the other side of my sons is where I spend alot of time reading, etc... our rooms are attached to the small living room also...you can basically hear everything in almost every room in the house (we are looking for a larger apartment)... anyway...I want to be fair and let him have his girlfriend over, but I am a very private person, and love my privacy.... I feel that if she comes over two or three times a week it is more than fair..."she also sleeps over several times a week"... please let me know what you think...

When you get in a fight or you just get mad at your significant other, do you replay the whole fight or conversation in your head over and over... even if you already made up?

Maybe I just think too much. Or maybe I have too much time in my hands. LOL.


By the way, I've been with my boyfriend for like 10 1/2 months. So the relationship isn't new and I'm not obsessively scared or anything of what will happen. Haha. I'm just curious.

There is this hispanic guy who just moved next door to my house. He's overly-friendly toward me and my sisters. He is always trying to invite us over his house and asking if he can come over our house when our parents go to work. I used to think he was crazy. He never cuts his grass, but as soon as it starts raining he goes outside and trims his hedges. I think that its an act. He always tells us that he wants friends, but he refuses to have coversation with adults. He only talks to us. He says it's because he feels weird talking to other people. (Our dad is hispanic, but it really makes no difference what our race is. He always talks to us in English) Do yall think he is a pedofile or is he just crazy? And how can I find out?

My sister is 30 this year and doesn't have her drivers license or any wish to get it.
She lives with me... which is OK ... but she expects me to do the shopping and run errands and pick her up from the bus stop when it's raining.
She never compensates me for these trips, in fact she says "It's your fault for having a car. It's much cheaper to take a bus."
Is it not fair that since I am struggling financially and she is doing well for herself, that she help out by paying a bus fare per trip at the very least, to help me out?
Yes we're sisters and I do a lot for her, but having a car is hugely expensive these days and I am at wit's end trying to make ends meet!!!

My mom wanted to get me clothes for Christmas, but she knows and I know we have VERY different tastes. Everytime she has bought me clothes in the past, I have not liked them, and she knows this very very well. So this Christmas she asked me to go shopping with her so I can pick out clothes so she can buy them for me for Christmas. We spent hours picking out the perfect outfits for me. On Christmas when I opened my presents, I recieved NONE of the clothes I picked out. They were all clothes that I didnt even look at, from different stores! And they were DEFINATELY not in my taste. I dont want to complain for getting presents, because I do appreciate them, but does anyone find it weird that we would go through all that trouble picking out clothes not to get any of them? I mean we even spent hours picking out the perfect coat for me (because mine is ripped and my mom is so nice), and she got me a completely different coat! An ugly one too! Isnt that weird? Should I say something?
