The true answer to this question is within him. She should ask HIM this question, tell him she won't tollerate it anymore. She needs to have him be a husband to her and a Father to her child. If he won't get help for his addiction then she needs to do what is best for her child and that is move on.

the man is emotionally unstable. i couldn't think of a mature man who would rather smoke dope with other men men than spend time with his daughter. a real man loves his children.

Ya know Mom, this has been said over and over by many different people. SHE PICKED HIM! Don't try to make me believe he did'nt smoke dope before the kid popped out. How many times are young stupid women gonna get knocked up and then gripe about the consequences?

Because he doesn't really love her, he doesn't want to be a daddy, and getting high is more entertaining.
She picked a real winner to make a baby with.
Oh, and another thing... a real MAN doesn't do this sort of thing.

This man is not a true man...he is a little boy with a drug addiction! I would not waste anymore time with this loser. However, I would take him to court and make him pay child support for HIS baby!!!

They have an addiction, not to stand up for the man but, he needs help and some al-anon could sure help her. I am not trying to be rude but, it would help her to understand addiction.
