im not being abused or anything, but your message although small and hardly unnoticeable on this site still makes a difference to some person out there, who needs support from people who have come through such a traumatic experience such as your own.. and its good to know some positiveness comes out of something so negative, weldone for sharing your experiences and giving people the chance to reach out for what could be their last bit of help.. keep strong, and teach your kids never to take that crap from anybody x have a happy new year

Thanks god i'm not a victim myself but my mom was quietly been abuse by her at the time boyfriend. she just finally left him like about 2 to 3 months ago and it was only because he was a trouble maker and a drug addict. He use to tell her that us her kids didn't have to find out or be involved in their problems, one day under the influence of drugs he tried to hit her again and my younger sister heard him and went in the room with a stick telling him to leave her alone and if not then she would call the police, he pushed my sister and took the phone away. she ran to a pay phone and called, him feeling scared, ran away and never came back, so if it wouldn't been for my sister maybe he would've been there still. I admire you for your courage, please to the ones been abuse I know that at the end of the dark tunel there is a light, look for it carefully without them finding out, PLEASE LOOK FOR HELP! EVEN IF IT TAKES YOU A MILLION YEARS YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS, GET HELP SECRETLY, LEAVE THE STATE OR COUNTRY, CHANGE YOUR NAMES, ANYTHING PLEASE JUST LOOK FOR HELP!!!! in special if you have kids,I imagine it's not easy but it doesn't hurt trying, SHAME ON THOSE WHO THINK THERE MEN JUST BECAUSE THEY MISTREAT SOMEONE WHO CAN'T STAND UP TO THEM BUT I BET THAT AS SOON AS THEY FIND A REAL MAN TO BEAT THEIR SORRY BEHIND, THEY WILL JUST CRY LIKE LITTLE BABIES AND NOT EVEN THAT LET'S NOT INSULT THE KIDS. A REAL MEN LOVES AND RESPECT THERE WOMEN, MAINLY BECAUSE THEY CAME OUT OF A WOMAN. IT'S THERE CHOICE TO BE REAL MEN OR LOOSERS. LOVE WHAT YOU GOT IF THESE WOMEN CHOSE YOU IS BECAUSE YOUR WORTH IT!.
GO AND PICK ON A MAN YOUR SIZE TO SEE IF YOU CAN HANDLE IT. I DON'T CARE CRITICISE ME BECAUSE MY MESSAGE IS TOO LONG I DONT LIVE BY WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ME!

No one has to take abuse, I am another victim, I never felt such relief, until I got out of that relationship. Get the courage to do something about it, you dont have to be abused, make it your New Years resolution & get the hell out. Good luck to all of you out there, your in my thoughts & prayers.

I hear ya, a lot of people don't realize it's not that easy to "just leave" if someone has a hold on you like that
Congratulations and best of luck to you and your family
I hope you can all heal

That's really great and everything, really, and I agree with everything you're saying...but do you really think people who are abused are allowed to use the internet very often? In my experience, the answer is "no."
Maybe you should try a more direct approach..go out into the real world and try to help?
