My boyfriend of 3 years has extremely low confidence. His mother was abusive (cheated on his father twice, used to beat him, brought home men and did obvious inappropriate things within ears reach), his father is passive-agressive (awarded full custody of kids but chose not to take them), his younger sister was put into foster care had child at 17 (loose cannon as well), and he has no male figures in his life. He's 27 now, and I finally helped him get back to school (one credit shy of graduating high school). He has no confidence, stutters when he talks to people, has troubel making decisions on his own which often frustrates me because I'm tricked into making them for him. He has no stable friends, but is a respected music teacher and excels at that and is an excellent boyfriend (besides decision making). Should he get counselling? He can't afford anything (neither can I). What should I do to help him? Please help, he's a great guy, with no foundation in himself.

my ex just showed up in our driveway, my husband isnt home. I havent seen him for 3 yrs. I go to see what he wants and tell him if my husband was here this wouldnt be a good place to be! He tried to get me to go with him but I said no and not to come back. After that he left. I called my husband right away and told him what had happened and He is interrregating me and not believing anything I say and even allowing his 19 yr old son to talk crap to me also. He says I knew that he was coming and have been talking to him for 2 months! Is he wrong for calling me liar and integgrating me and putting me down and allowing his son in our business? or do I deserve it?

Here is the deal, my lady have a 3 y/o grandson who calls her "na-na". I'm not his biological g-father and I'll be dam if he calles me grandpa, pa-pa or that other crap.

Other than Mr.___, my lady thinks something more personal should be used.

Help me come up with something besides the above please. What do they call you?

btw, as&hole is NOT an option..lol.

I've been involved with a married man for about 4 years now. The man used to be wonderful, but he is obsessed with the notion that I'm with another man. If I don't answer his calls, its because I'm supposedly out with some guy. I really want to exit this non-relationship, but the emotional ties are too strong to break out of. He apparently hates his wife but he stays married to her for the kids and her money. I really want nothing to do with him, but I just don't know how to break out. Any suggestions? Before you go on the hate train, I already know what I am doing is wrong, so please don't bash me. I'm trying to do the right thing by leaving so please, if you can give me some thoughtful advice I would greatly appreciate it.

4 years ago i met this guy i was with him for a month, but coz i was living in wales he left me for someone i knew and thought i could trust, they had a girl together but i was seeing them quite often, we had both moved on but still kept feelings for eachothter locked away and hidden. In july i moved back to the place i used to live which is where i met him, he was living with her at the time, but we got together, he then left her coz he was "madly in love with me and didnt want to be without me." Well a couple of months ago i found out that i was pregnant, a couple of weeks later he left me for her again. i see and talk to him all the time but now he is saying that he is madly in love with her and will do anything to be with her he used to say this to me. This broke my heart and it is still breaking, i am having nightmares and a bad pregnancy but i am still madly in love with him. I want to try and move on but i dont know how unless i stop the hurt and i need help i need to know how

I ran into this girl 3 times in a week. It was weird.I don't think she following me because she's already in the place when i see her.We laughed about it and she called me afterwards.But now she's not calling me.Do you think some one told her im following her? In my case I need to know because that way I'd know(if the answer is yes from you guys,) if I should completely avoid him and ignore him when I go back to college from my break.

Anyway he's my 70yr old instructor who just loves to talk to me and tease me in class all the time and lets me hand in papers as late as I want until I'm done.(that's not my concern)

Anyway this last week before finals he started to stare at me suggestively, sexually ogling me and would stare at me with passion lust and longing. I got so upset at him that I requested to take the test in the library. The dean informed me that I won't get suspended if I physically defend myself against a teacher if he'd come on to me.

Well after taking the test we sat in his office(just me and him) and chatted about how I did the problems on the test, classes, and he called me a space cadet. Chatted some more and wished him happy holidays. When I stepped out of his office he just laughed at me!

Okay well My sister and I both know we are getting Nintendo ds lites for Christmas because our parents wanted to make sure they didnt buy the wrong game console so we had to go with them to make sure it didnt happen. So since we know what we are getting for Christmas I cant stop thinking about them!!! I want to play on it soooo bad!! I need your help, here is my situation.

I am recently divorced from a 4 year marriage. I am good friends with my ex-wifes cousin (female) and was friends with her for 4 years before she introduced me to her cousin.

The divorce was a little messy but not my fault. In fact my friend and the rest of my ex-wifes family took my side because the way she acted and because she asked for the divorced.

After the divorce my friend told me to keep in touch, to call her or visit her and her family any time, to not be a stranger because we were friends before all this c**p.

I fell very awkward talking or going to my friends house because my ex visits her 2 to 3 times a week. Some of my friends and family are split on should we stay friends.

Should I still keep in touch?
What is the proper thing to do for my sitiuation?

I am seeking advice as to how to help a very close friend of mine (I was her bridesmaid). She has recently married and had a baby boy. She loves both her husband and her son dearly.

She is, however, feeling unstimulted and a little upset, and I am unsure as to how to help her. She is studying uni externally, however she has taken a break this semester while she had the bub. She has tried to get a head start on next semester's work, however she is finding it very hard. She tells me that she sits down at her desk to work, but the the baby wakes up or cries and therefore she has to stop her study to attend to his needs. (An occupational hazard of having a 3 month old around, I imagine!)

She and I both understand that some of this frustration is normal after a significant life change, and she is adjusting to having bub around. We live ~1000km apart, so I cannot provide practical help such as looking after bub, cleaning etc.

She has made friend with other mums in the area (cont..)

Has anyone ever found it difficult to date an independent woman? I mean I think independent women are fine, but my friend recently dated one who was very very independent. He felt like he could never do anything for her. They only dated a month and right after they started to get close, she dumped him. I mean they never argued, and she also had some issues such as low self esteem, depression, and was in therapy for the passing of her father.
