How do you know if someone's attracted to you?

In my case I need to know because that way I'd know(if the answer is yes from you guys,) if I should completely avoid him and ignore him when I go back to college from my break.

Anyway he's my 70yr old instructor who just loves to talk to me and tease me in class all the time and lets me hand in papers as late as I want until I'm done.(that's not my concern)

Anyway this last week before finals he started to stare at me suggestively, sexually ogling me and would stare at me with passion lust and longing. I got so upset at him that I requested to take the test in the library. The dean informed me that I won't get suspended if I physically defend myself against a teacher if he'd come on to me.

Well after taking the test we sat in his office(just me and him) and chatted about how I did the problems on the test, classes, and he called me a space cadet. Chatted some more and wished him happy holidays. When I stepped out of his office he just laughed at me!

I turned and walked back in my office and asked why he laughed? He just shook his head beaming, I was like ok I can be a space cadet at times haha and he said yeah and smiled.

Is he attracted to me? Or does he just want to be friends?

Because I'm debating whether or not to ignore him completely or an occasional hello and a request to help(even though I won't have him as an instructor anymore YAY!)

I dress modestly and no I don't like him.

I believe it is morally wrong to mess with someone else's man.

Some ovibous signs r they r always or sometimes staring at u and when u look @ them they turn away, They r shyer around you or they r always talking to ur friends.
