My boyfriend has always made me feel special. Always a hug or a kiss when we are passing each other even after 2 years. A compliment that I am looking nice even when I don't feel i am. He always asks if I want to do something and doesn't just assume I do. He listens to what i have to say and has suggestions if needed. He always considers my feeling no matter what we do, and asks how my day was even when he comes home so tired he can hardly stand, thats why i married him. But you have to make him feel special as well, it isn't a one way street. Never part without a kiss and goodbye, and say when you will be back so he has something to look forward to.. YOU :-)

My husband and I have been together for 5 years and he tells me several times a day that he loves me. It doesn't have to be big things but its the little things that count. If you need more of this from your man, let him know. Maybe he's just not used to expressing his emotions to you, or to people in general.

Mine does....he calls me at work everyday and we chat for about 1/2 hour...then he emails me at work about 10 times a day just chatting and telling me how much he misses me. He does not talk more about himself it works out equal_

my girlfriend/ fiance doesn't like compliments. In fact whenever I try to say something nice... 'i like what you did with your hair, what colour is that on your nails, that's nice' I get it thrown in my face with a whole bunch of negativity.
