My wife has certainly done it this year. Everytime i have tried to find out what to get her for she tells me she has ordered it for me. I have no idea what she has ordered. For the past week we have been getting deliveries twice daily. She confesses that she has done all her shopping on line and bought one or two things for her self. Yesterday she received a delivery of hair products 9 bottles in total, on asking the price i was told close to a hundred pounds but you can give it to me for christmas. Why i always thought a gift was from the heart but i have picked nothing for her. I am slowly resenting her and christmas as i have no idea what she has bought family members for presents and i don't want them saying "thanks for the present" if i don't know. I asked her and she just shrugs and tells me it is her business. Tonight was the final straw she told me she had ordered something else for christmas from me. So i told her i hadn't got a card so she may as well buy and write it herself

I have been with my Fiance for 2 and half years and we both love each other. We have lived together pretty much the whole time. I have been faithful and loyal to her. I betrayed her trust by installing a key logger software on the computer and I found out that she was flirting with an ex-boyfriend on the internet as well as asking a co-worker out to lunch. She thinks that I cheated on her so for the last 4-5 months we have been trying to work through everything which has been a constant battle and I have been trying to do everything possible to show her ho much she means to me and how much I love her but nothing seems to work. It seems to me that at this point, she wants to end the relationship. I don't want this
because I love and care for her very much. Please help.

I'm a reserved, soft-spoken person and it takes me a while to open up to people. At work, I've opened up to a few co-workers but I try to be friendly to everyone, say hi, wave or ask how they are doing.

I've been trying to overcome the shyness that I've battled since my childhood and have made progress. BUT, sometimes I get these "shy spells" where all of a sudden I'll get this uncomfortable feeling, will get super quiet, will avoid eye contact and if everyone is leaving the room, I'll scurry away quietly without saying goodbye.

A few questions:

1.) Are there any recovering sufferers of shyness who can relate to this sudden and sporadic onset?

2.) Why does this happen? How can you deal with it?

3.) What impression does it give to others who don't know you're shy? Can other people sense that it's shyness or will they think I'm standoffish?

4.) What if people KNOW you're shy and the shy spells happen around them? Will they think I'm being rude/standoffish?

I work with this lady and she is not my supervisor, but I do a lot of her work for her as part of my job. She might be bi-polar as she has crazy mood swings (slams her phone, door and yells snaps at everyone).

She has a habit of going to the lady in the cubicle next to me and whispering about how she thinks I did this project too slow, or how I didn't stop what I was doing to take care of something she wanted done right away.

I can hear her whispering and I know she is talking about me, but I can't confront her because she will freak out because of her mental issues.

How do I deal with this *****? Everyone hates her and my boss said they can't fire her since technically she gets her job done.

HELP!!!

I just got back from soccer practice, where I got threatened. What happened was that my ex's boyfriend showed up there and started talking with some of his friends and then he asked "who was is that went out with meeka?" (my ex's nickname), and I said "I did for like a month, why?" Then he said "Well if I ever see you close to her again I'll kick your a$$" So I said "It was her that got too close to me!" So he said "well, you're warned" and I said "Go to hell"

Then since my friend told me no coaches were coming and that we weren't gonna have formal practice (just skrimage game), then I decided it wasn't worth staying since there was no supervision and someone wanted to get something started. So then, I just stood up and left practice. This guy is known for being a drug-addict who is in gangs and sent a guy to the hospital for 3 days in comma state, so I don't think it's very smart to reduce myself to his level. Do you agree with me that it's better to keep away?

I was molested as a young child, starting at about 6 weeks old I think. I've had five years of therapy, I've come a long way. But will I ever truly recover? After all this time I still find the idea of sex disgusting some times. I still often pick men who turn out to be abusive perverts. I also still cry fairly frequently whenever I think about my childhood and the fact that my mother let me abuse me. Do I just have to feel glad that I've made some progress but accept that I wil never fully recover from this emotionally?

This mega-crush just asked me out today, and I'm really happy. but at my school, everybody's doing the "get together for a day and then break up" sort of thing. My new boyfriend isn't really like that, but I'm still worried that he might get bored of me and move on to another girl. The winter semi-formal is in 2 months...how can i hold onto him long enough? i reeeaaally like this guy!

I believe it is,I believe that some people do come into your life and touch your soul with their thoughts or actions but then I'm a sucker when it comes to romance and destiny and all that stuff.Has anyone ever touched your soul however briefly and have you ever had a moment that felt magical, the kind of moment that suspends time and changes your world forever?

I need to get my 26 year old cousin a Christmas gift. I usually give him money but my aunt wants us all to get him gifts he can open since he is across the country and away from all of his family. He already has an I-pod and is picky about his clothes. I can’t think of anything else.

We've been in a relationship for a very long time. He recently said that his feelings for me changed but he's not sure if it's for good. We've loved each other and always made a great couple. We have similar goals in life as well as similar values and principles. Although he said that maybe our views on life changed lately, which I don't think is the case. He is not sure if he wants this relationship anymore but he can't say he doesn't either. He wants to try to figure it out. I love him deeply. I know he still cares for me and am pretty sure he wants to work things out. He doesn't want to break up yet or see other people but he calls it a break and wants to leave this chance there for us to be together in the future. We've always discussed the future and made plans to be together and I would've never thought things could change. Do you think his love for me can come back as it's the first time something like that ever happened? Do you think we stand a chance in the long run?

If you were a man who had brought your only son up single handed and he is now living away from home and has a good job. Would you follow your life long dream of travelling around the world on a motorcycle or stay with a girl you met a year ago, the girl has made it very obviuos she does not want you to go. It would also mean throwing away a very good job.

I'm gonna be back home with my family. My boyfriend is going to be working as usual.

I'm just wondering who else isn't going to be spending Christmas and New Year's with their significant other.

And oh... I'm not devastated or anything lol. It's only a month. Besides, I miss my parents and I get to spend quality time with them!! : }

I suddenly thought that if enough people read this, someone might know where this deadbeat dad is.

He quit a job intentionally so his wages couldn't be garnished for child support. Then he disappeared. The child support office doesn't know where he is, so they can't help me.

I have reason to believe he is somewhere around Chassell or Houghton-Hancock, Michigan.

His name is Brian John Komula, age 43 and he owes back child support for his daughter. If anyone knows an address or phone number for this little fraction of a man, please e-mail me the information. No one has to know where I got it and I will turn it over to the child support office and let them take things from there.

Thank you,

Sue
