I made a list which has at the top: "People Whose Opinions About Myself I Give A S**t About."

9 people made it: my grandma, my uncle, my parents, my brothers, my boyfriend, and my two best friends.

When I'm at parties or work or the coffee shop, or other kinds of social situations, and I start to worry about what someone else will think of me, I remember whether there's anyone around who made my list or not. If not, then I shut the thought down, right away. I think it works, I have trained myself pretty well.

I would recommend this for anyone in high school or college especially.

Image seems to be really important these days, and I think people get really self-centered because of it. You worry about how you look and come off to people FAR more than they actually care.

If you made a list like this, who would be on it? Do you think it would work for you? Why or why not?

My daughter who is the mother of the 2 grandkids is single and lives with us...Here is my ?? X-mas is right around the corner and what I want to know is how much is enough for grown kids that are on their own? None of them are married or anything and my husband @ I get in arguments every yr because he says I still try to spend like they are little kids still living @ home.It is going to be tight this yr $ wise..we just moved. I want to get them a visa card that is spendable anywhere but how much should I spend w/o feeling guilty and yes, the 16 yr old and grandkids will def. get more...Please help...

my boyfriend has a ex she is so crazy!!! well she know where i live ( i live 45 miles from my bf). she left him a note on his truck and told him if she see's me with him that she is going to key his truck!!! so he called me last night and told me that if she calls me to tell him that im dating his cousin. he said that he dont want no problems with his ex. she doesnt know what i drive or look like!!! when he told me that last night i kinda got upset!!!! i dont really dont know what to do!!!! thanks for all ur answers!!!!

I hate my last name. I like to sign my last name with a different last name consistantly. I even prefer to be called that name and answer to it.I don't have the money to change it legally right now. Also, I am about to move to another state and don't want to wait the waiting period to change it?

We have been married almost 2 years.
He allways said "He's not ready."
Now he says he is ready. But never shows it. And never asks me to stop taking the pill. I really want him to "want" to have Children, but I can't make him want it. But if we are gonna keep waiting then we will be too old. I really wanted to be a young mom, at least not too old. I'M TIRED OF WAITING AND HOPING. Should we stay Lonenly forever or should I push him????
Besides all of our Siblings have Kids and they look at us like we r such outsiders.
Please Tell me what to do, I'm so confused and I'm starting to get weired!

My boyfriend works and I don't. I stay home and keep the house clean. I mop, vaccum, cook, do the dishes, laundry, dusting, clean the bathroom, I do all the house work. Everything. Some weekends he'll work in the yard and I help him there too. I do have money coming in too, from a small business I do so when I'm not cleaning [mostly at night] I am working on that. Plus I take care of my 8 year old son. I do everything for him. But he's my son and when my bf and I got together he said he'd help and really doesn't too much. It's all on me, which as far as my son goes that's ok. But do you think I cater too much to my boyfriend? I even put away his clothes pick up his dirty clothes, I do it all. Am I being used? I do pay bills too, half the rent, the electric and the gas and water. So it's not like he's taking care of me. Plus I buy more than half the groceries. If I run short of money I borrow money from him, I always pay him back. So what do you think?

john marvin smith and joe smith are brothers
joe smith has a son first names his son john marvin after his brother as a sign of love and respect...
john marvin the elder has a son after his brother does and names him after himself as it is his first son so now we have john marvin smith sr and john marvin smith jr
what order is the name of the nephew - is he a second, a third or do he and his uncle share the same name just a two complete strangers would?

We have been together 7+years.
Bi racial relationships that have no future?
I'm medium skin toned&spanish. He's chinese. The family hates me. When is it time to say goodbye even though you don't want to let the other person go. The family doesnt approve andmakes everyday a challenge. Do I stick it through? Do I come to terms that I will always be dealing with this? This is my 2nd time getting the hate look from the other mother all because of my skin color. It hurts and although it has shaved down my self esteem I know Im beautiful inside and out. I just feel that maybe they think I'm not good enough for their son. Or that they want him to have chinese babies only. Not mixed. I dont know what to do. The holidays are here and soon a new year. Should this new year include us?

I have a boyfriend of almost 2 years. People have told me I should leave him, I can do so much better, that he wasnt on my level. I stook by him. As we stay longer together, I feel close to him but slowly not as romanticly but more as close friends. I know he doesnt feel the same way.
Another issue is I have met someone who I am starting to like a bit, romanticly. We just talk nothing more. I cant cheat on my bf, so I've told this other guy that we are strictly friends.Getting to know e/other more though is making it harder. I would love to give this guy a chance but there is one thing I dislike, he admitted to me that after 1yr of being with someone he analyzes the relationship and if he doesnt see himself marrying the person he leaves them. Its like he has an expiration date! So it makes me think, do I want to get involved with this guy? I could see myself falling for him but I dont want to if I know theres a chance after a year he'll be out.

What do you guys think?

My ex and i broke up a month ago. we been in contact on and off. Last time, I spoke with him was last wed then he stopped talking to me. So, for 3 days I didn't try to talk to him online. On saturday night, He sent a message on AIM. I was happy to hear from him. So, we talked a little bit and I signed off went to bed.

So, I don't know what to do. If i stop talking to him then I'll miss him.....if i continue then i'l be happy but probably get myself hurt or something.

if he tries to talk to me does that mean he still misses me or isnt over me?

My partner moved from Bournemouth to be with me, the other night i found a text on his phone from one of his female friends back home, calling him Babe and asking how things were, a while ago i found outgoing ones to her where he called her darlin, it was just general chit chat but why is he calling her this, we talked about it and he said they are just mates, it's me he loved and he wouldn't have moved here if he wanted to be with her, i dont mind him texting female friends but now he is tryin to hide it from me, am i reading to much into this, what do you think?
