My ex and i broke up a month ago. we been in contact on and off. Last time, I spoke with him was last wed then he stopped talking to me. So, for 3 days I didn't try to talk to him online. On saturday night, He sent a message on AIM. I was happy to hear from him. So, we talked a little bit and I signed off went to bed.
So, I don't know what to do. If i stop talking to him then I'll miss him.....if i continue then i'l be happy but probably get myself hurt or something.
if he tries to talk to me does that mean he still misses me or isnt over me?

just give it time, he may be dealing with some unresolved feelings and issues and may just be filling out the situation....

Life is a mystery, you will never what future holds. As far as love relationship is concern where no committment is arranged between the two of you. It is best for you to just take your relationship lightly . Keep in mind that if the two of you were meant for each other, then both of you will be together for the rest of your life. If not, then just move on until you find the right man. For the meantime, enjoy life and don;t worry too much because if you keep on worrying on a daily basis, you will end up being miserable. If he's talking to you, he could miss you, or he could be hard up. Guys don't want to have no one. They have to have somebody on standby until they find a permanent one. Do you think he is the only guy you will ever love? Not hardly. There are plenty of guys out there...the best way to get over someone is with someone else.

Doesn't sound like a real good situation for you. If you think you will get hurt or something, then you maybe should not continue this. There are plenty of others out there that will and can make you feel better.

Their must be a reason you both broke up. the both of you may meed to have some space! so take this time to find yourself, work on you, have some fun, meet new friends. concentrate on school!

it all just depends on what you two talk about. cause he may just trying to be nice but then if he talks like it then he may be trying to get with you again.

i think he is playing with you
he talks to you on and off, like he only comes to you when he has nothing better to do.
Show him that you are not a 'nothing better to do' to fall back on.
