Im female, 37 years old, never been married and i also dont have any children of my own. I live alone and i would like to adopt a girl but my parents told me that i should adopt a baby and never tell her that she is adopt. But i would like to adopt a 5 years old girl instead cause im scared to take care of a baby, i think is less difficult to take care of a 5 years old.

I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews and i used to take care of them, they are now 14, 10, 6, 5 and 4 years old.

What is your opinion and/or advice about adoption?

Okay, here's the deal. I'm a guy in my early twenties. I've never been in a relationship before (with a girl), although I have gone out with them a few times to dinners, movies, what have you, although it was just for fun, not dating dating. I've never been in a relationship with a guy before. I love to look at men who work-out, their chiseled body and abs, and men in underwear. However, I think having sex with a guy, or a naked guy, is gross. There are certain women who arouse me, a few movie stars, but women in lingerie or models in Maxims and Playboy really don't do me anything. Am I gay?

I am married and have 2 kids, 10 & 7 months. My wife has not allowed me to go out with my mates for a couple of drinks for almost two months now... WE go out as a couple at least once a week and have done for years. If she wants to go out with her friends for an evening, I have no objections whatsoever, in fact I actively encourage this, and yet, when I ask, I am told that I can't go out... I do not come home late, and do not get abusive, so what other reason could there be for her refusing?? please let me know what reasons you could think of for her being this way ladies!?

This trip started as visiting 2 old, sickly relatives, 1 in Vermont, 1 in Minnesota – 2-3 weeks one place, drive to other & stay 2-3 weeks, then home to FLA. (Note: BF can work remote, via computer, so he continues usual Mon-Friday job – it's not 100% fun & games.)

I was supportive in planning this. I knew I'd miss him, but duty to family is important and he should visit these elders while his work assignment lets him do so.

But after 3 weeks in VT, he tells me he's not going to MN. But he's not cutting his trip short. In fact, he's adding 2 weeks (for 8 weeks total) so as to go hiking, boating, attend a festival, etc. (No change in the relative -- nothing to do with that.)

I'm feeling like this "family duty" trip has turned into a pleasure trip, and a BF who takes an 8 week pleasure trip without GF doesn't care much about the GF. We're over 35 & have been dating exclusively for 5 years. Anyone else's thoughts? Don't suggest that I join him in VT, I can't leave town.

I have a real problem.
My man & I are very much in love & have been together almost a year.
The trouble is, he really seems to be going off sex.
I love to be with him like that & he says he knows he is neglecting me but the last thing I want is to make him feel pressured.
The feeling of rejection is really horrid though and I can't help wondering if he aint attracted to me anymore.
We normally have a fantastic sex life but this last month or two it all seems to be going wrong.
He loves me & I know we aint gunna split up but I hate being rejected like this.
I haven't gained weight or anything, I look the same as I awlays did & he used to love the way I look.
Sex is never boring & we experiment & make each other very happy.
I know it aint the be all & end all but its important to me for closeness & intimacy.

1 year ago me and my boyfriend parted ways. he did not tell me the reason for our break up. all of a sudden he came to me 1 day and said "its all over between us". i kept quite for a month. one day i went to him and asked him the reason. he used abusive language with me. just said to get out and never to contact him. even today im waiting for him to tel me the reason. his friends kept misguiding me. sometimes they say he still loves me. somtimes they say he is dating som1 else.i did asked them to not to talk abt him. they say they were telling me abt him generally. our's was a best relationship. even though we were totally different personalities, we always came back to each other after fights. deep inside im waiting for him to come back to me. i want him to come back with deep realisation that wat he did to me was wrong. all my friends told me to forget him, he doesnt deserve me, he wont come back, move on..... but i have hopes. i feel may be some day he wil think abt me and come back

..that what I'm gonna do is the right choice? I wanna go abroad with my gf, who I trully love, for a year or something. we didn't get into the uni we wanted to study at (in other city) so the only way of being together is going somewhere quite far away from here. going abroad for job for a year.. or sth like that.. but when I do it.. I'll lose something and it's my mom. there won't be any possibility of coming back (to talk about my mom; my dad is ok with this all). and I'm so afraid that something will go wrong, that I won't spend the rest of my life with my gf and then.. if something goes wrong between us two, then I'll destroy (torture) myself psychically, because I won't have eother my mom nor my gf. and my mom will be like 'I was right, I told you to leave her..etc'. Often when I look at questions on Yahoo! Answers I see 13 and14 year old girls asking about loosing there virginity. Is this now a fad, the in thing? What ever happened to sports, liming with friends, church, doing things young people would of done? Is there not enough literature out there on aids or other std's? Is it parents are not doing their job?
