Oh man. Where do you work?
If you work in a small office, that's a little like asking "What do you think of me cramming this stick of dynamite up my ***?"
Office relationships are the baddest of bad ideas in small biz land.
Now if you work for a large corporation with a campus-sized location, it's a different story - as long as you and the object of your affection don't work in the same department.
I met my husband while working at a very large company - I was in marketing, he was in tech support. We were both okay with it because, if anything went bad, we didn't have to work together.
You could easily lose your job (or wish you'd lose it) if you're stuck having to work with someone you've had a relationship with. Even if you're both 100% professional and adult about a split, it can still be awkward. Now imagine how bad it would be if you WERE NOT professional and adult about it? Yuck.
So here's my advice: Small office? Don't even think about it. Big office? Go for it.

I think it depends on what type of job you have. If its a professional job - career type job, then I would say its not such a great idea.
But if you are young 16-21 and its a summer, PT or minimum wage job - go have fun. Remember don't burn any bridges. Be honest with the other what it is you want from the time you spend together.

Is the fun worth losing your job over? Or embarassing yourself or your co workers? That's what happens. I'd have my fun somewhere outside of the office and the saying is correct.

Never, ever get involved with someone at work - unless you or the other person wants to get a new job! If you ever break up, it will strain your relationship with them on the job.

Make sure you are both mature enough to handle it.....and for God's sake, don't run around talking about it at work. That is annoying and it will get you into trouble!!
