Im female, 37 years old, never been married and i also dont have any children of my own. I live alone and i would like to adopt a girl but my parents told me that i should adopt a baby and never tell her that she is adopt. But i would like to adopt a 5 years old girl instead cause im scared to take care of a baby, i think is less difficult to take care of a 5 years old.
I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews and i used to take care of them, they are now 14, 10, 6, 5 and 4 years old.
What is your opinion and/or advice about adoption?

Tell your mom that a baby is very hard to get and you are asking for trouble if you don't tell them because they will find out...
I find it admirable that you want to adopt a child. Everything in life is hard if it is worth anything. children are hard to raise at any age they just have different problems

adoption is wonderfull if you can produce a safe place for a child then by all means goo for it
