My parents say that I am a complete embarassment to them because of the way I dress. I dress in what I feel like wearing. An example is the outfit I'm wearing now. A green peasant skirt with a green belt and a black shirt with a green heart on it. I have on a purple collar (which my mother bought for me) and I have my hair parted to the right. My parents say that my clothes are an embarrasment, and that I need to dress in the jean mini skirts and things like that, which I don't have the body for. I don't know what to do about this. Please help me...

my husband has a friend that is 10 or more years younger than him. "John" is ALWAYS at our house. I come home from work wanting to relax, and he's there. He doesn't leave for hours after. We have a young family as well, and "John" is always yapping about all of his girlfriends and who he's been with. His language has tones down after I have repeatedly told him to stop. I try not to pay attention about him talking about all the girls that he's been with, but it doesn't help, as he continues on. I am getting sick and tired of his presence around our house all the time. My husband knows how I feel, but when he's around him, he always acts immature and maybe wants to be like him for some reason. Please help, before my marriage is adios!

This girl & I have been friends since high school but it's always been that her "outgoing" rambunctious personality has helped her make her way through the social crowd and my looks, grades, and athletic abilities have made mine (to be truthful). The problem is: I think she wishes my boyfriend (who I met thru her) was her own. Now, they are neighborhood friends so they do friend stuff, but I find him inviting me along and not her. When things go "wrong" she takes his side, and if he calls her to look 4 me she won't tell me. What is going on?

I told my my bf that I was going out with my mother this past weekend and he got annoyed. All day long, he kept picking arguments with me. He was really cruel with me and hurt my feeling really bad. I know I overreacted and blew off at him but only because he pushed me to that limit. It seems to me that he doesn't like when I go out, and he won't take me out dancing which is what I love to do. I love him deeply, but he won't listen to me. What's up with this guy?

My gf loves me as much as I love her. We've been together for 10 years and she honestly admitted being physically attracted to another man at work who's also physically attracted to her. I imagined being in her shoes and I know I'd truly appreciate such a complete trust to fulfill this *one time* physical desire, so I told her that if it's only physical and that nothing will change her emotional feelings, she might as well do it.

That was about 6 months ago. She still didn't do it, but I've always wondered if it's insane for me accept such a thing.

I am the type of woman that feels that my husband is the boss of our house. He makes the rules and he handles the discipline. My problem is the rules he has for me are different than the rules he has for our daughter. I understand some rules are different but he spanks me for talking back, being whiney, and having attitude, but he would never consider spanking her and he lets her get away with murder. Of course I fully consent to the spankings but i think that he should have the same rules for the whole house. Am I wrong?

If all you are going to say is that I have issues because I let my husband run our house and spank me when I need it then please dont answer. I am not looking for judgement just advice.

I had very short hair when my hubby and I met. I had short hair the entire time we dated. We've been married 3 years and I've been letting it grow for husband. Now that its summer and 95 degrees everyday, I want it off. My hair is extremely thick and I can't really put it up,,,,nothing holds it. Its not that long, only to my shoulders maybe. Yesterday we talked about my hair...he said If I wanted to cut it that bad go ahead. He said he fell in love with me that way, he'll still be in love with me if I cut it. hmmmm, what to do

I found e-mails from a girl he met on vacation (I asked another question about this if you want all the details). I really want to confront him about it but I dont want him to think I was snooping. He is really sweet to me and I never imagined there was another girl. What should I do? I kept my mouth shut all weekend and I will contine to but this is really bothering me. I know the only way I can know the truth is to ask him.

We broke up a few weeks ago and although I know it’s better this way, I can’t help but to still want to be with him. He doesn’t want to have a girlfriend yet he still wants to see me and talk to me. I don’t really see the point in hanging out with him if we are not going to get back together but I miss him like crazy. I’m torn between wanting to see him and also thinking that seeing him won’t help me in getting over him since we can’t be together. I don’t know what to do. Any advice?

We were supposed to watch the world cup game together.

First, he decides to play basketball in th morning which was fine then he got home and called me and said that he was sick. Then he called back and told me that he was going to call me and let me know were to meet him. He said that he is going to his friends and his excuse that I couldn't go was "there is no need" isn't that real nice of him this was said after I was waiting for him for almost 15 min when he decided to call me and tell me to meet him. What I am trying to say is that am I psycho for gong to the friends house when he told me not to because I got sick of waiting. When I got there I yelled at him because I felt he deserved it.
