We broke up a few weeks ago and although I know it’s better this way, I can’t help but to still want to be with him. He doesn’t want to have a girlfriend yet he still wants to see me and talk to me. I don’t really see the point in hanging out with him if we are not going to get back together but I miss him like crazy. I’m torn between wanting to see him and also thinking that seeing him won’t help me in getting over him since we can’t be together. I don’t know what to do. Any advice?

Being friends is good but,,,

If you love him stay back if you two have no plans to getting back together and CACTH YOUR BREATH.

Then be friends most times a person usally starts missing the one person they wish they never left and want to start over again.

It is NOT healthy to hang out with your ex boyfriend. It sounds like he is asking for space. Seeing him wont help you get over him. You need to move on. Go be with your girl friends. Concentrate on school or your work.

actually its up to you if you still wanna be with him there's nothing wrong with that. its just that you're gambling your feelings. you wanna gamble being hurt in the process. of course if you still love him there's always a possibility that you are hurting everytime your with him. and that's painful for you. and unfair as a matter of fact. you're just making it worse and harder for you and at the same time you are depriving yourself of looking for someone to love ot to love again and being happy.
its up to you if you can't just let him go that easily, that is understandable. maybe take it slowly, slowly go away from him. ok? good luck. you deserve to be happy again.

if you can be friends that is great. apparently that is all he wants out of the relationship hun is friendship. if you cant handle just being friends then it is time for you to move on and find someone else but remember you will lose a great friend

Ive been there done that. For me it seemed like the best thing to do because my feelings were all wrapped up in him. But it made it harder for me to let go. I had to stay away from him, it was easier for me overall.

I think that you should gradually distance yourself. If not, you may be in for a ride on an emotional roller coaster.
