I have a relative who is 60+ and she greets people at the at Walmart. Maybe you should thy that. Also look into working at the gift shops at hospitals. There are older women working there just filling up water pitchers for patients & doing light duty.

If you have had children, alot of people will be looking for good daycare providers for thier kids this comming August. You might even try contacting a senior apartment complex to see if anyone has any needs. My mom drives a few people grocery shopping and to doctor appointments. She also will clean for a few of them. Alot of people need good daycare providers for thier children and if you are willing to do light housework you can charge more.
