ok I'm 13 and all at the moment and everytime one of my moms friends come over for there session(my mom's a doctor) they always tell her I'm really pretty, and they also tell me that too, none of my friends have ever said that to me why is that adults comment you more than your peers, or am I just thinking that, I bet allot of you also have been call cute or pretty by adults, but usaully yor own friends never tell you that, strange?

She believes that she is going to make it big in the music industry and anything that seems to make it harder makes her depressed....and has 'melt downs'. I feel really bad. I'm 27 and there is a 16 year old teen who has a crush on me. He asks me out and tells me he is in love with me and how he thinks I'm sexy. He also tries to give me gifts which I tell him I can't accept. My best friend is also friends with the 16 yr old, and will invite him out when we eat lunch, the 16yr old will always try to buy lunch for me. He also tells me that he wants to lose his virginity to me, and about how he is lonely....

I DO NOT want to hurt his feelings because I know how it felt to be a lonely teen, I'm trying to find the best way to explain that he is just way too young, how can I do this nicely? what would be the nicest yet Firmest way to tell him he is making me uncomfortable and he is too young?

my "friend" is really weird. i just got back from camp yesterday. i had a couple messages in my inbox, so, i go and check. there are a couple from her. so i read them and apologize for not getting back to her right away because i was at camp. then i say normal stuff in the other ones that she sent me. she replies to the first one. this is what she says, "w/e". i don't get it, i mean i know what it means, but she does this all the time. i told her how i feel in my reply. and she hasn't replied yet. i just don't get her. she tells lies about me to my friends and disses me about my boyfriend. i really don't get what hr problem is. i've known her since 3rd grade, and she still is a little kid. and we're going into 8th!!!! plz help me

I have two friends who arereally self centred and maybe I wouldn't mind if I hadn't been so depressed this year. Anyway after leaving college I was really depressed and lonely and sad and I texted them and told them this and they dismissed it and went on and on about themseleves. Anyway one of the friends is really good at the guilt trip where I didn't turn my phone on for a few days because I was trying to get back on track and I had to like explain myself. I feel like I'm being manipulated and I don't like it. But I've never been good at expressing myself. Also I just want some space to understand who I am. I feel like I'm babysitting someone else.

So how can I say all this?
The problem is I feel they need me more then I need them, like they need an audience to applaud them and I am that audience. That even if I do need them they won't be there and I have to pick myself up alone anyway so what do I need them for. I'll admit I turned my phone off to ignore them.

my friend is moving soon and i avoided her for a while because i was really sad that shes moving but when we talk a little and when i say bye i hug her so tight like shes leaving tommrow and she says"dont worry im not going anywhere yet...." and next day i talked to her a lil bit and i was gonna hug her like as we always do but she just turned around and refused to hug me and slowly stopped talking to me after this what do you guys think about this situation?

Why can’t people just say how they are feeling and talk about what’s bothering them. I m not a mind reader?

I just want to be able to get along with everyone without the crap. I m not in a friggin soap opera drama I don’t want my life to be like that.
I am I just being naïve in thinking that I will ever find some friends who are down to earth and level headed?

there is this really stupid annoying girl in my grade and she won't get off my nerves! My boyfriend told me that she used to go to the same school with him and then when he moved to the school we go to now, she moved to the same school too!! She thinks I'm her friend but I'm not and I don't hang out with her but she won't let me live without annoying the heck outa me! And the thing that sucks is, she's a cry baby! If I tell her that she has no friends and that everyone hates her, she'll go bawling to the counsler! ONE DAY, THIS GUY WAS MAKING FUN OF HER AND THEN SHE STARTED CRYING AND WENT TO THE PRINCIPAL AND THE COUNSLER!! GRR!!!! SHE'S SUCK A TATLETALE AND CRY BABY!! AND SHE'S SOO STUPID! ok i am a math geek, and i'm a nerd, but my parents are too... but anyways, there was a math test, and she got a 56%... and she asked me if she passed... I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW SHE'S IN THE GRADE SHE'S IN!! SHE SHOULD BE IN KINDARGARTEN!!! But, HOW DO I TELL HER TO GET THE F*** OUT OF MY LIFE???
