see me and my ex had broken up since july 4th he is still single and we talk on tha phone sumtimes juss wit regular convasation and last night he asked me if i still liked him what should i say to him if i do still like him and is it alright to be friends wit ur ex

of course it is still okay to be friends! im friends with most of my ex's there is nothing wrong. you should tell him how you feel if you still do like him.. but don't sound desperate. say something like. "i will always have feeling for you.. but if we can only be friends i would rather that then nothing" it makes you sound like you him in your life no matter what.. but you don't sound desperate! its okay to still have feelings for him.. your feeling don't just go away after you break up.. they will always be there! good luck! =]]

It's still too early for you. BUT yes, I hate the thought that every relationship has to end miserably, I hate the fact that we seem to have to find major fault in the other to validate the failure of the relationship.
I'd like to think that I picked wisely and that he was a good man but ....... well...... it just wasn't ment to be marital. But that kind of intamacy, commitment, and submission offerings deserve to last at a life time of friendship. But now one really seems to look at it that way. I think its actually good to remain friends with an ex. Cause then things are somewhat smoothed out. But then again, you may not want to be friends. What caused the break-up? If you can't get along daiting, then maybe you can't get along being friends. but I'd say go for it! I don't see anything wrong with it. Jealousy might break out; so be careful.

i am still friends with my ex! its ok! but its up to you whether or not you like him! i broke up with my boyfriend a little bit ago and we are still closer than ever! and he still asks me if i still like him and i say "yes as a friend though!" and he just shuts up and changes the subject!
