How Close can best friends be????????

Question

This is a girl - boy deep deep deep friendship ... We both just LOVE each other (as friends).....

As good best friends, let me know what is not right and why....

1) Holding his hands?
2) Sitting close to him?
3) Sleeping in his lap?
4) He sleeping in my lap?
5) Hugging each other?
6) Kissing him on his palm?
7) Letting him kiss on my palm?
8) Kissing him on his cheek?
9) Letting him kiss on my cheek?
10) Letting him kiss on my lips?

Either of them have understood each other very well.... and both of us have lost the idea of having a boyfreind or girlfriend for each other.... and both of us often discuss about our relation.... we both like to be only friends n nothin other than that... We are satisfied that we are ONLY friends......

~ stop fooling yourself ~
you are more than just good best friends
these are all signs of affection & the kissing sends things into a sexual direction
is there a reason you don't want to be more with him?
sounds like you got a nice thing going
So you've both found someone you're very comfortable with.
How would either of you feel if you did meet someone else & started

Just not possible to have a platonic relationship, sometime somewhere you will slip into a physical relationship and that (may) be the end of your deep deep friendship. If handled maturely, it may strengthen the bond, but that may be another story.

You can be as close as your heart allows you to be, but it has to be unconditional. So if you hold hands it is just to know that you are there, sitting close, hugging is also an exchange of the warmth and feeling. Kissing palms or pecking cheeks is still tame, and okay, but the question arises as you sleep.... how do u feel when you see him in you lap or you in his ? Kissing on the lips ... again do the lips open up ! Or do you want to it ?

Very complex - building the trust in a friendship, recognizing it, nurturing and making it grow stronger. Be very careful, it is the best thing you can have, and the stronger it is the more happiness you will bring to your lives.

u two have more of a sister brother relationship. uve exceeded the best friends and gone to almost like family. the holding hand thing maybe a little different or odd, but the sittin clse to him is fine. its just a sign of u wanting him to protect u. it can go aloing with sleeping ine ach others laps. its a sign of reassurance and protection. hugging is just a beter way of saying hi and thnx for everything for u two. the kssing may give off the wrong sign to most people, but if u feel comftable around each other, why not? but the lips thing is to far. u two have a friendship, not a relationship and ur not tech nically family so it would be weird

Lol you know which ones are reserved for boyfriend and girlfriend type relationship, but ill point out the obvious number's 1,10, are not for friends and the lap thing is suspect and borderline and the number 3 & 4 and lets put it this way would you do that if your girlfriend or boyfriend were around ? if theres such a love there and so much affection why arent the two of you dating?>

Are u both very sure that friends is enough? Do not seem the case. Things happen without realizing it.

When best friends turn into friends with benefits, u are losing the friendship. Since you both are not attach, consider going further as a couple.

If your answers to the 10 qns is yes, you are getting emotionally involve.

Well this depends on the community u r living in, if these things r appropriate for friends to do in ur community then go ahead. But if u want my advise anything other than a friendly hug or a hand shake is considered too intimate.

i'd say the ones that are not right for just friendship are the kissing on the lips one cos that strongly implies your a couple. though by asknig this question it sounds like you want more from your 'just friend'
its your life and your relationship, you should do whatever you both feel comfortable with, not what some random strangers think is appropriate. :-)

HI, by that question it seems to me like you'd want the relationship between you and the boy to be more of a bf/gf relationship. Nothing of what you asked is wrong for best friends to do but... If you did meet someone else as a boyfriend i dont think he'd like you doing all of em (except maybe 2 + 5?)
Like i said... i think in the back of ure mind u want it to be more..
decide 4 ur self first b4 you start asking whats right and whats wrong...
Besides if you do really like him and want more of a relationship... just ask him.. if your that much of gd friends then it wont jepordise anything

I have a really good guy friend, and we do everything except any kind of kissing... but I think, whatever works for you! Certainly non-lip kissing seems fine for friends to me - and I know some friends kiss on the lips too. So, yeah - whatever you feel like!

Everything on that list is wrong except for hugging, well it depends on what kind of a hug,! You are leading each other on whether you want to admit it or not! Friends are people who you trust and who trust you. people u can talk to about anything. if u do those things on the list then ur more like a couple than friends! u need to talk to him and end it completely, or start acting like JUST FRIENDS!
