I see a lot of negative questions on here about my black people. They stereotype us as being ghetto, uneducated and always having an attitude. Not all black people act this way, and it is very ignorant for anyone to group stereotype a race of people. Very rarely are whites, asians or any other race stereotyped in such negative ways as blacks are. Here we are in the year 2007 and many people still act as if blacks still belong in slavery.
I love people for who they are not for the color of their skin. I will not treat anyone any better simply because they are white, hispanic or anything else. Will people ever stop hating blacks?? Will we ever be judged on an individual basis?? What's your thoughts on this??

Some people are being mean to me but my friend wants to keep talking to them and kissing up to them.

She is my olny friend but I am wondering if I should keep someone around who is so disloyal. I am thinking if I develop standards I might get better friends eventually?

should I? And is it asking too much for wanting a friend to turn away from people who are not being mean to her personally?

She says, " they didnt do anything to me" . I like her. I will miss her. But should I just go ahead and ditch her?

I have 5 best friends, they r all nice kind, smart, and popular. (iam 2) I hav been their bfs 4 5 yrs already. but now, i just notice that they occasionally pick some1 to h8 from our group. My B/F told me today that his lease will be up on July 25th and that he will finally move in with me, after 4 years of dating!!!! The problem is that I have a roommate. She moved in with me in March and already doesn't like my duplex because of the neighbors that live downstairs. She has been bugging me to set up times to look at other places because our lease is up in June and she ALREADY wants to move. I dont know if she is cool with it, it sounded like it at first, but then she said things like, "I know about this one bedroom Justin could look into, it's really cheap." She did ask me how much I really wanted to live with him, and I told her I've been waiting for a long time and yes I do really want to live with him. Recently my ex called and asked me to escort her to someplace she was unfamiliar with and we went as friends. The next time she came by my house and ended up in my arms, and it went a bit further but we didn't sleep together. We agreed to be friends but she said she wanted to make sure her current b/f would be ok with it. my girlfriend and her daughter have had a falling out over her drinking when she was 14.her daughter is 18 now and going to college.(close by)she has stated that she is not ready for any contact with her mom at this time.(her own words)i on the other hand feel the moms pain and would still like to give her a mothers day card as she is a mom and a very special person to alot of people.what do you say in this card?something simple.I JUST DONT KNOW!!thanks for the help.

I have been friends with 2 people for years and the first time i needed to count on them...they fu@ked me. They really let me down. I have always been there for them.
It would be easy to end the frienship cause i moved away about six months ago and all i would need to do is stop emailing and not pick up the phone.

The thing is i use to have a group of girlfriends who i was cool with.I met my husband 5yrs ago and before i got married everything was perfect with everyone.January 5th i got married and since then all my friends disappeared.I'm still the same person before i got married,i haven't change .my husband takes care of me and my friends always tell me they wish they could find a man like mine.Can anyone tell me why they think my frinds are acting like this.Even my cousin who use to be my bestfriend don't talk to me anymore,she used to call me only when she wants to party......What should i do?help me plz...Thanks in advance

me and my best friends will be seniors next year, and on the last day of school, they are throwing a party. this party will involve all of us camping out in the woods, getting drunk, and doing god knows what. the problem is we would have to lie to our parents about where we are going. im not so sure if i should be involved with something like this... what do you guys think? should i just stay home, or go live a little and have some fun.

2 years ago this 40 year old guy started hanging out w/ me and my group of friends (16-22 years old). I thought it was weird and complained about it but everyone liked him and he didn’t really harm anyone so I left it at that. Many of my friends are going to prom, while I am not. They won't shut up about it and it gets really annoying. They ask me why I'm not going, and there are numerous reasons.

1) I don't have a date and I really don't feel like paying full price for just myself and then feeling like a f***stick being there by myself.

2) There is no way that I would have been able to get a date if I would have wanted one at any point.

3) Money: It's not that I don't have the money, I think that it's just a waste of money.

4) I don't want to go because, as I previously mentioned, I think it's a waste of money, and I think that it is a waste of time.

So, what is the best way to respond to their annoying rants about "prom this and prom that" and the way they all talk about how awesome their dates are?

I don't want to say dumb things like, "don't cry," and I don't need to advice on finding them counceling. I just want to help comfort them when they turn to me. I feel so awkward, but I really want to help my friend feel better. She was suppose to visit her grandfather because he was sick, but before she could he passed away. Today.
