this girl i know has more in common with me that anyone i have ever met. she know my soon to be ex-wife and they are going to continue to hang out, but she is better friends w/ me. she has been over to my house and i cooked her favorite food: steak and had red wine. we talk on the phone every night till the batteries go dead. she isn't seeing anyone, nor am i. she hasn't seen anyone for 5 months. the chemistry is there alright, but she insists that she just wants to be friends, so there isn't hand holding even. she says that she doesn't wnat a relationship to close her off from other friendships and if she has a relationship with me, she will only meet my frinds and if it doesn't work out, then all my friends wouldn't be her friends anymore. i explained the prob is i can't help developing feelings from all this time together and i'll fall in love and she's breaking my heart. if i make myself somewhat hard to get a hold of, think she'll miss me to the point that she'll change her mind?

So theres this girl who lives by me...like 3 blocks away, but she's new to my school this year. She's a soph. and i'm a junior. She's in my history class, and I think I overheard her talking to someone how she had to move because of guys that wouldn't leave her alone. I just want to get the full story out of it, but I've never talked to her. I just wish she could trust me. I could help her out if she DID have those kind of issues.

today in pe after we had changed out and everything me and 2 other people heard somebody crying in the locker room, so we went in there and it was a girl from our class. i mean she was bawling and couldnt even talk and was sitting in the corner. the teacher didnt even know she was there because she stayed in the locker room while she was taking roll, anyways we went in there to see what was wrong and she started yelling at us to get out and leave her alone, and that she wants to be left alone. well her face was blood red from crying and she could hardly even breathe so we went to tell our gym teacher that she probably needs to go see whats wrong so she did, and it turned out her mother had been beating her and hitting her, she had bruises all over her along with cuts and scrapes. so she stayed in there talking to her and said she needed to go talk to a counselor so after class i realized that she never went to the counselor and she decided on her own that she didn't want to talk about

The child is 4 and the mother "friend" I only met, the first time I looked after the child, The child was more than willing to go with me and stay at mine with my larger than average family and right from the start expressed the desire to stay with us, always making excuses not to go home, the mother has expressed her love for the child! but has readily agreed to the child living with us permenatly, I am more than capable of this the child is now quite settled and appears happy, I would like others views on this????. This agreement is between myself and the mother with no aurthorities involved.

I have worked with this friend of mine for a long time.She is the dept head.I was ask to take the position but didn't want it.The position would not have benefited me any so i refused.I took a vacation week off, went back to work and there was so much waiting for me.I am tired of her just wanting to talk to people and i end up doing most of the work.She seems to think that it is social time everyday at work.I get so aggrivated by this.She doesn't work and talk,just stops and yaks away, i can't tell u how many times a day. I try to keep my cool but this is reall getting old.Help please.I tell her comeon we got to get done and she will say ok but it doesn't last for long..

Well, I am 13 but I want to raise as much money as I can to buy a car when I am 17 because I want to, you know, pass the test and get my car straight away but every now and again my friends ask me to come out to swimming or cinema or some place which needs money.

My boyfriend and I were driving and all of the sudden we were passing a gas station when there was an accident, I saw one of my boyfriends friend that I just met, my boyfriend went to help and when i got out of the car I found out my boyfriend was dead. One of my really good friends has a chronic case of depression, which means he's ALWAYS depressed. He's not emo or anything, but he threatens to cut himself all the time and refuses to talk to a counselour or a doctor about it. His girlfriend just recently broke up with him because she said he was to needy and she didn't want to be around him, and now he's even MORE depressed. What should I do??

I have a friend with whom I'd like more than just dinner once in a while. We're friends, but I'd like more.

I was thinking that next time we're out to dinner, before we get to the restaurant I pull her aside and kiss her. Simple. Straightforward.

A friend has moved in with my partner and me for a few months (I'm pregnant and she's moving out before the baby comes), and we're having problems. She's just very thoughtless and immature, not purposefully hurtful, but this has to stop.

The issues aren't huge: leaving trash around the house, leaving the shower curtain open (the floor, towels,and reading materials get soaked), leaving electronics (lights, TV, and high AC) on when she leaves the house, staying on our home phone for HOURS when we're not home (no call-waiting; have missed important messages because of this).

We're trying to help out a friend in need, but we feel she is taking advantage of our kindness by being so thoughtless. We try to be fair: we charge only $200 a month for rent, utilities, and internet use (she has a cell phone; our home phone isn't included). I've asked her to stop, and she apologizes, but she just doesn't think of our feelings or property long enough to change. What else can we try?

i´m man and my friend "too", he told me if i want to have sex with him and i thought than that could be a joke and i said yes... but late but we didn´t do nothing.....
then his behavior with me change and we didn´t talk for 4 mounths.. now we talk again but when we were drinking beer he told me again if i want to have sex with him...
he touch me a lot but if i touch him he push me i dont understand what is his problem and he has a girlfriend...

now i have a problem because i regret it but i know i have to just go on with life!! we have hung out 3 different times but each time i brought along my friend because i wanted to avoid having sex with him again! each time i have learned new things about him. he has never had a real relationship only friends for at least a month. he just got out of jail in jan, i was very shocked and had no clue! so anyways we are just friends and we still kiss and act like we are a couple which really annoys me because i dont want to lead him on but i still feel bad for him because i dont want to hurt his feelings! after we had sex he told me not to get attached so i have avoided catching feelings for him. at first he would call me a lot and come to see me at my job because when he gets off i go to work so we cant talk because when i get off he goes to sleep. now we hung out on sunday before i had work and he told me that he would call but never did. its 3 days later and there is still no call.
