Friends - February 2007

SO I used to be more normal but II sort of had an identity crisis where I convinced myself I had to be quiet and act shy and not talk to anyone.

Now no one really bothers with me. And I get lonely.

And I dont know if I just started being more normal how long it would take the reputation to change. Because I've been like this for liike a year and 1/2. And it bothers me because it really took a year for people to start treating me different before. They treated me normally and I didnt really respond so they stopped bothering with me.

im friends with this boy, and he always talks to my girl mates, then out of the blue, he asks me what boy i would rate as the hottest. then he asked me what would i rate him. and i was kind of stuck, coz i knew that eventually he would ask me what i would rate him out of 10! so i easliy said 10 as a joke but what does this mean!
i don't get how he's hugging up my friend and next minute pulls me to the side and starts saying all this stuff about her saying how shes so annoying! help, what does this mean? CONFUSED!

I grew up in a small town in the midwest, and went to college in a university town near there. Since college I've lived in 4 other cities (3 in the U.S. and 1 in Asia), for a total of 6. I like to travel a lot and have recently been working overseas. I get the impression some of my friends/family think I'm nuts because I don't care to settle down, buy a house, get married and start having kids. To me that life seems very boring. So, are my friends boring or am I nuts? lol!

When I go out with him I feel like he dosen't notice me standing beside him. He will look and stair at a girl for a long time.Is there something wrong with me is Im not doing something right.One time he told me ain't nothing wrong with looking.I told him it's all about respect.He shouldn't look at other girls when Im with him.He should do it when im not around.What should i do.Is im right.

I guess he forgot he used to have a Facebook link to it because he started writing all these bad stuff about his gf and doesn't think anyone he knows is reading it. This dude i go with claims like he really LOVe me but he didn' give me anything for Valentine Day, so how can he really say he LOVE me. And I know presents and gifts shouldn't determine his LOVE but I can't help but wonder why I didn't recieve anything.

im 18 and i use to get bullyed in primary and secondary school.i made 1 friend in primary school and secondary school i made 2 friends but one of my friends is 17 nearly 18 and my other is 15 they are sisters.well we had diffrent timetables so we didnt see eachother much.and at college i made 2 friends but one just likes going to pubs and the other one busy alot.well im currently at the training centure and people talk to me but i get this feeling that they dont realy like me.
the rule at the centure if you bully people there you get kicked out.iv been to youth clubs,there not many clubs out there we can go to,at the training centure and youth club i do talk to people as much as i can.i feel like giving up,i have my bf whos my friends and my boyfriend.

I had a really good mate and after a while..she fell out with me..said it was my fault..! Really give me a hard time...about it aswell..said people are going knock my head off..etc We haven't been friends for about 3 months..but i miss being her mate in a way. OK sooo I planned to visit my friend in April for spring break, already bought my ticket and told my family etc. However, we started talking about how we should live together. At first we were just messing around but then we really discussed everything. And sooner or later we found an Apartment for a reasonable price. My friend paid for the 1st months rent & security deposit. I'm in the process of buying furniture. That was our deal, she meet with the landlord and pay for the Apartment etc & I buy all the house stuff. I have not told my family about me moving to NY. I really don't know how to tell them. I am 18 so it's really my decision. I was thinking about just calling them on the date that I'm supposed to fly back home & telling them that my stay is permanent and that I wont be coming back for a while. That would be a bit easier and I am leaning towards doing that. But then a part of me wants to break the news to them a week before I fly. HELP!!! I don't know what to do. :(

I'm talking about both male and females. In fact, two of my friends met at the wedding of a 20-something because they were the oldest people there (except for the parents) and decided to talk.

Is it because they don't have any children but want to be around young people anyway? Or are they just afraid of becoming old and unhip? They're musicians and artists, btw.

I'm not the only one who wonders about this.

I saw a guy on a dating web site and emailed him. We talk through email. We haven't met yet, and only live with in 30 minutes of wach other and work even closer. Our jobs and after work lives keep us pretty busy. We just email back and forth to chit chat and laugh. We have a few common interest which is always good. All we are, is friends and that is cool. But why is it that I always feel like I have to initiate the conversation. Once I do this we have some good laughs. I think only 2 times in the last 4 months has he started conversation. Once though I was very impressed was at Christmas time. He has told me he's shy and doesn't really pick up the fact that women may be interested in him. Should I just keep it in mind that he is shy? Or let him start the next conversation? I may be a while waiting for that one. I know alot of guys aren't into email. Not sure what to do really or what to think. There is no relationship but frienship here.
