yes, if you click the persons name and in their bio it says you can e-mail them. if in their bio you can't, then no you can't.

Depends if they allow email or not. There's not a way to allow a direct response that everyone can see.
I know at times, I'd like to know people's responses to my answers, but I've been on here almost a year, and there have been two or three cases where guys have gotten really ignorant and it's been scary.
One just happened a few days ago. I had responded to a question about wedding planning, and maybe the next day or so had asked a question in Electronics, and got a totally nasty "answer" which wasn't about my question, but regarded my response to the wedding question. It was really scary, like stalking. So I don't allow email.
