there is this girl at school who i like and when we talk, when she starts the conversation she ask questions like hows your day and stuff like that, and when i start the conversation i will tell jokes and she'll laugh.

I have a friend I've known since 5th grade, 21 now, and we have grown into very different people. We have exchanged some words and she has said some things that have offended and hurt me. I don't think it was her intention to do so, but we are very different from each other now. We have been emailing back and forth for a couple months now, trying to communicate with each other, pretty much fighting over the internet. I don't know if I should try to fix things with her or just let everything go. We have known each other for a very long time and I don't know where to take it now. I have known her for years and we have been pretty close, but also had times when we didn't see each other much.

So, im in middle school and - how should i say this - im not exactly popular. I have friends, but out of that group almost noone knows me. I am a straight A student, trying to be nice to everyone but noone pays attention to me. i'm kinda poor so i cant afford grerat clothes and perfume, my parents don't let me make-up and i dont have a boyfriend. Got any tips for me? I need more friends! And im willing to do anything about it!

I have always had trouble talking to people. When I enter a group discussion with somebody outside of class, I feel really awkward. I often run out of things to say to people and I assume that they see me as a snob or wierd. I try to set things up with other people but they don't seem to want to do things with me. Comming up with some excuse or something which makes me think that they don't like me. People that I talk to will ask others if they want to do something and go out with them however, they never ask me. When people do that I think that they are not interested. I NEED HELP!

i'm 13 and i've liked this guy thats 3 years older then me for 4 years. we've been friends for 2 years now. but he knows i like him and i know he doesn't like me. (we;ve talked about it.) but resently, i told him the bad things i've done. and i lied to him meny times in one of our fights and later started another fight by comfessing my lies. now he says he doesn't trust me and doesn't want to have anything to do with me anymore. i know i did it and i regret it. so don't just tell me that i did it to myself and that i deserve it. anyway, now i feel like i've been broken up with, even though we wore never togeather. i even super cleaned my room, and i havent cleaned it before that in 7 months. all i do is lay on my bed and listen to music. why do i feel this way, how do i stop felling it, and how do i get him to trust me and be my friend again? i've asked him, but he only says he doesn't care. ( i'm not to young eather!)

I confronted my classmate for ignoring me and switching tables b/c I considered her a close aquaintance friend. I think a couple of people were ease dropping into the conversation. I was so mad that i walked out of the classroom and the teacher had to talk to me outside. Was i being overly dramatic or do u think it's normal reaction? My friend wants to quit our dance team. The girls can be mean and superficial, but I just don't think it's worth quitting for! She just got angry when I told her this. She feels that she has perfect reason to quit. She's a really really really good dancer and her and I are partners in choreographing!

I think she will regret this decision! But she doesn't think so!

Well see, I had this situation that caused my mom not to trust me anymore but i dont know why. she said i lied to her for not telling her about how i really get to and from school. and i tried everything to earned her trust back but some of the thing aren't really working. so i kinda in a bind and looking for help. becuase i like begin trusted.

My first best friend, after 6 years of being friends, we don't talk no more. I just didn't like the fact that "Whatever she said was the right thing to do or say but whatever someone else says it's wrong."

My second best friend, I have been friends with her for 7 years. But these days, I don't trust her because in high school, she talked behind my back ones and I never forgot about that.

My third best friend, I just didn't like the fact that she smiled at people and be nice, But behind their back she would talk about them.


Is the reason why I don't have best friend is it because of me?

I make friends easily and that haas always been a skill of mine. But whenever it comes to keeping them, I suck. I get attached to friends and once we get close I feel uncomfortable and uneasy. This is the same with guys, I dont like emotions and I think lovey dovey stuff is totally unnecessary. Can anyone help me get close to friends without freaking out?

Shes very shy around me, but laughs a lot. Whn i get approached by her friends, ther like "oh, you must be [her] friend". We only talk online latetly and are very shy with each other in school. One thing, I had a nasty breakup wiht one of her friends like 3 months ago and i have yet to apologize.

that once you get pretty you have a hard time keeping friends? I mean i used to be pudgy all through my teens...had no problem keeping friends...but now after years of hard work to improve my physical appearance and help my self esteem i can't keep a friend...they all tell me i'm dumb and stereotypical like "Paris Hilton"............i'm not!! I'm the same girl i always was, sure i enjoy shopping every now and then but that's because i think i actually look decent in my clothes now...i've just taken some initiative to help my life a bit.
