A friend of mine says she hopes I find someone to share my dreams with because I have no one, but she also keeps trying to get me to talk about them in conversation. Why does she want to know so badly? I did tell her I like her, but we both thought it best to be friends only.

ok so all my friends got dates to the formal already and no one has asked me and they are ALWAYS talking about there dates or dresses or the afterparty thats planned and it always makes me feel soooooo bad!! and i ask them to please not talk about it around me cause it upsets me but they still do!! what should i do??

I started high school this year and I met this girl and we became friends because she was in 4 of my classes. Lately, though, she's always been clinging to me, which is really annoying because I have lots of other friends I'd like to spend time with too. She always follows me around, and talks to me as much as possible. It doesn't matter where I go- she will follow. I know I'm just such an amazing person (sarcasm) that people want to be with me all the time, but how can I tell her to please stop stalking me without hurting her feelings? I still want us to be friends, just not joined at the hip.

A childhood friend that I had for 18 years and I had had a fallingout and lost contact about 5 years ago over a difference of lifestyles (I was married with kids and she was single)
I've just recently learned that she helped my mom when my mom was in the hospital (she is a nurse and helped my mom with her heart surgery) I sent her a 'Thank You' card and let her know I appreciated her taking care of my mom. I received an email where she thanked me for the thank you. Now I'm at a loss. Should I pursue the friendship again? Should we try to resolve the fight we had or just try to move ahead with a new friendship?

i was talking to my mom about how angry iam at the fact that this guy i know hardly calls me she tells me that he doesnt call me that much maybe because i wont hang out with him and then said she wouldnt call me either if she were him.(what kinda mom says that) the thing is im going through some personal issues that i have to sort out which is why i told him we couldnt meet up for a while and he said he understood and agreed to wait things out so this should not be the reason he doesnt call more often.i think hes just a jerk like every other guy i,ve known.any thoughts here would be appreciated.

my little sister is turning 14 and has no idea what she wants. im working on a VERY low budget and need some ideas. weve never been close so i dont want to spend a day with her or any thing , she alredy wears to much make up so none of that . cds and movies are to much ( like i said very low budget) and she doesnt like to read. she really is hard to shop for when you cant get her a gift card

i have had this friend since 4 grade and she hates one of my friends she hasnt talked to me in like 2 weeks and told me she wont be my friend unless i leave my new friend and just leave her alone but my nw friend doesnt have alot of friend as it is and i have more in common with my new friend then i do with my old one please help me out i have no idea what to do and i am totally worried about losing one of my friends and dont know how to get past this.

Her weight loss is not going well. She is putting a strain on our friendship by constantly talking about how I'm doing and asking how many pounds I've lost . How do I get her to realize that I'm not competing with her or that (her) this weight issue is putting a strain our friendship? We signed up together at a weight loss and exercise clinic but she hardly ever goes....doesn't stick to the plan and tells me, "Oh well tomorrow is another day" when she over eats. I've already told her that I value her friendship and that
I don't want to lose her friendship as time goes bye. I could feel that she feels threathen by how well I'm doing. I don't brag just go to the gym and try to stick to the plan. What should I do?

My life is ok i am doing well in school i have a boyfriend of 2 years, though i still feel alone. I dont talk to my family, all i do is work and school. If people i know were to look at my life they would think its fine. I have had many problems in my past and i suffered from post dramatic stress disorder maybe that is still in my life. My group have been rehearsing for weeks for a competion that we have been entering for 28 years.....one of our really important members have gone and the show can't run without him..............its terrible.....we have been practising til 2 in the morning and everything...we have a history of winning and now this year we cant even enter if we cant get this member on board.........how can we pursuade him to do it..........we have 24 hours to decide if we r gonna enter or not what should we do......im desperate for any suggestions......we need him for comedy and we really need him....or some one who is excellent to replace him......HELP..........THIS COULD BREAK OUR LONG TRADITION

There's this boy, and we used to be really good friends. We kept falling out though, over silly little things, but we always made up.

But a few weeks ago he started begging me to slit my wrists, and said that he'd commit suicide just so he didn't have to see me again. He said that he wasn't joking, later on that night.

We avoided each other for a couple of days, but now hes acting like nothing happened. I tried to forget about it, but I CAN'T. I really fancy him, and he hurt me. I'm not as upset now, but I've tried talking to him about it, and it hasn't worked, he WILL NOT apoligise. Shall I forget and forget, or stand my ground? :(

I've known this girl since the 6th grade. Were like sisters. We were a party and she had some drinks and some hits and i noticed that she wasn't able to hold her self up.I told her to give me her truck keys and i would drive her back to my place and she could stay there. She said that she was fine. Well the girl that was with my friend said that she could drive her home. But she also has had some drinks. Well b 4 i left she came out to the park'n lot and said that she didn't remember how to get home. So RED flag came up.So i went up to her and tryd to grab her keys from her and we fought in the park'n lot. im a chinese girl and now studying in spain. i started learning english when i was really young, so my english is the best among all in my class and somehow even better than our english teacher. anyway...thus, all my classmates want me to help them with their coursework and presentation. at first, I was happy that i could help. but now i m really annoyed becuz they dont do their work anymore. I M THE ONLY ONE WHO HAVE TO DO THE HOMEWORK, THEN THE WHOLE CLASS COPY MINE!!! I HAVE TO WRITE THEIR PRESENTATION!!!I HAVE TO TRANSLATE THE ENGLISH NOVEL INTO SPANISH FOR THEM!!! i really dont want to do that anymore, but i cant say no to them. i dont want to be a machine, or allow someone to USE me or something...but also, i dont want to hurt anyone or destroy the relationship with them. god, what the hell should i do?
