My group have been rehearsing for weeks for a competion that we have been entering for 28 years.....one of our really important members have gone and the show can't run without him..............its terrible.....we have been practising til 2 in the morning and everything...we have a history of winning and now this year we cant even enter if we cant get this member on board.........how can we pursuade him to do it..........we have 24 hours to decide if we r gonna enter or not what should we do......im desperate for any suggestions......we need him for comedy and we really need him....or some one who is excellent to replace him......HELP..........THIS COULD BREAK OUR LONG TRADITION

Your group is in a bad situation right now. Sounds like there has been a previous problem that needs to be addressed and resolved quickly. Is he aware that you can't go on without him? Is he asking your group for something in return? Is he contacting you at all regarding this subject and what is he saying? There seems to be a lot of questions arising from your question. I would certainly let him know your dilemma and ask him what it would take for him to reconsider. In the future your group should have a written contract with each other to help eliminate future problems. Good luck to you and your group.
