i have had this friend since 4 grade and she hates one of my friends she hasnt talked to me in like 2 weeks and told me she wont be my friend unless i leave my new friend and just leave her alone but my nw friend doesnt have alot of friend as it is and i have more in common with my new friend then i do with my old one please help me out i have no idea what to do and i am totally worried about losing one of my friends and dont know how to get past this.

if ur friend since 4th grade was really ur friend, she would understand that you are trying to be nice and that she is not the only one in your life. the world does not revolve around her, i have experienced this, i talked it over with my friend and she understood.

You lose a lesser pushy friend and gain a better friend. Why do girls freak so much about losing a friend? She seems pushy and not so much of a friend. If it is because of the years, I can understand that, but I would continue to be friends with both. You cannot draw lines, but let them do as they may. If she does not want to be your friend anymore, that is 1) her problem and 2) not the kind of friend you want.

Sounds as if you are growing apart to me. I wouldnot compromise who you are based on a whim of an old friend. Just because you are friends with someone else does not mean that you all have to hang out together. You can do things separately. If the old friend can not handle that, then move on...(But try to work it out...)

if you are truly meant to e friends then you will always be, why should she be jealous though, sounds like she is being selfish ,so just keep on what you are doing and she wil crawl back if she really wants to be frinds ,she also needs to accept both of you
