ok I want to get a present for my friend, and she lives 2 states away! What is somethign simple that I can send to her
and nothing homemade or anything like just a card, i mean something i can buy

I think gift certificates are great. Safeway has a generic gift cert that they can trade in for the gift cert that they really want but if you don't want to do that how about lottery tickets?

Send her a gift card to her favorite store or restaurant. A movie rental card or a certificate to a spa in her town. It doesn't take a lot to make a friend happy.
