And I mean everything - not withholding a single thing from them.

Who is this friend? What made you trust them enough to be able to tell them everything running through your mind? How old were you when you got this friend?

If you don't have this friend, do you know why?

I have a friend like this but just because I "can" tell him everything, doesn't mean I always do. If he asks, I tell him but sometimes, there's no reason to say anything. Mainly because we just know each other without even having to talk.

There's nothing really in particular that made me trust him, other than maybe his manner of being non-judgmental. It just happened over time. We share interests and opinions and are on the same wavelength.

This kind of friend is the kind that you know when you meet them and you can't go looking for them. It just happens or it doesn't.

Yeah, I have. I first met him when we were both 13. Just classmates...Not close at all.
In high school, we started hanging out together. I forgot how or why... We discovered each other and whaouh, we're the same, it was obvious.

He's me and I'm him. We are kind of "connected". He can finish my sentence and so do I. Sometimes, we don't need to talk to understand what the other is trying to say.
He's the only one who can totally understand me...
I trust him more than anyone in this entire world.
Well, we fell in love, we broke up...No matter what the future holds I know for sure that he'll be part of it. :)

I'm generally pretty open and tell my friends everything. I've moved several times from different states so my closest friend has changed a lot in the years. I always have one that I go to first to talk to and get their opinion or just vent to. But I'm still open to all my friends.

Yes, I have had a Best Friend! The bestest friend ever, and we share everything. We were just friends, that would go to church together, go for walks together, have coffee now and then. Then suddenly things went very wrong in my marriage, and she was there for me, then about a month later tragedy struck her and her daughter, and I was there for her. We have been there for one another since. That was 18 yrs. ago. I am very blessed! I was 28.

well I did have this friend actually. but I don't anymore. I trusted them because this person wasn't a big-mouth and she was quiet. she was very sweet and never broke promises. she wouldn't hurt a fly and certainly wouldn't do a THING to make her friends embarrassed. I had this friend when I was in 2nd grade through 4th grade. I'm in 6th now and I don't have her as a friend now cause she replaced me and we grew apart. good luck xx

yes i have a friend who i tell everything to and vice versa.. it all comes down to trust.. i met her in high school and at first we didn't have much in common but after we finished school we realised that we are just so much alike.

I think it comes down to trust. I trust this girl with my life... and if i am ever need of some advice or just want to talk to someone i can always count on her.. and vice versa

I never had a friend like that, and I doubt I ever will. There are some things that I wouldnt tell anyone, no matter how close we are. But I do have friends that I can tell ALMOST anything to.

Yes. His name is Yeshua Ha Meschiach, a.k.a., Jesus Christ. I tell Him everything because He already knows anyway. He's cool about it, tho. He still forgives, even tho He knows I'm very messed up.
