If y'all are friends then no. If you're going to let something stupid like a fight stop your relationship then yes.

All friends are going to go thru this phase. It is not a good one but for some reason it happens. If you have great history together it will work itself out. Before you know it you will doing each others hair again (if you are girls) or seeing who pulled the most numbers (if you are boys).

That is the general friendship rule. If it is something that was totally irrational and not called for and totally disrespected you then you may need to cut your loses.

Since I don't know the details about the fight other than it was with fists only you know the true answer. Good luck in the future.

Talking first from what is on your mind and also your heart. Do not get emotional but rather use logic. Ask each other how it got so out of hand that fist got involved. It certainly did not solve anything, it is obvious since you are asking the question that it really upset you. Do you have enough in common, shared interest and enjoy each other company enough to continue the friendship? are you friends because you have grown up with each other or was it because you both wanted to develop the friendship. One thing is certain you need to be mature enough to discuss this. Good luck.

it really depends on what the fight was about. But if they are your best friend then maybe you should give them a chance to explain what happened. And if they seem like they really dont care and dont want to try to fix the fight then maybe you should take a break.

Sometimes best friends need some space because they are so close and sometimes that causes some fights even bad ones.

She's your "best friend" for a reason. If you care about her, you won't let one fight get in the way. You need to talk things out with her. If you lose her over something simple (I don't know what you're fighting over), you'll totally regret it.
But if you're getting physical, you need to think about this. Do you really want to be friends with somebody who you physically fight with? First its a punch, then what? Maybe you should find somebody who you don't have that sort of relationship with.
So my point is, think about how much you care about her and what your friendship is worth.

It really depends on the fight, the age....and the intoxication level, of any. If the subject of the fight hit to the very core of who you are, Id trust your instinct.

if you were/are really best friends you should be able to get over this. if you are extremely angry with her then just take some space. you should not stop being friends, but maybe you should just stop being best friends.
