Im in middle school and my best friend(12) is going out with a highschool drop out(16) going out with him is really hurting her reputation.shes a nice girl good grades excelent athelete and shes really pretty.i usually go 2 her for advise.theres this grl in my school shes extremely jellious bcoz she cant get a date for her life. after her 1st date wih her boyfriend she missed school for about 3 days and the jelious girl started a rumor that my bestfrend was pregnate.she even texted my bestfriend saying that im starting a bunch of rumors when she came back 2 school every1 was laughing at her while she was walking down the hallz.and i ws the only 1 defending her.but sumhow the skool councelor found out so every girl in my grade had 2 go 2 an assemboly where the principal had 2 talk to us afterwards my best friend and i had to hav a private conversation with the skool councelor shes convenced i started alot of rumors and everyone in our skool is laughing or making fun of her what do i do

I've tried everything everyone's told me, I've been outgoing, friendly, patient, I talk to people in classes,joined clubs, I say hi to people every chance I get, I plan my day around bumping into people I know to have a chat, pretty much anything anyone can think of. I was alone in high school, my mom, the school coundelor and everyone told me it would get better when i moved to a new city to go to university, but it didn't. I meet new people all the time and even have a few regular friends but i always get forgotten about. I don't get invetied to parties (don't tell me thier not imprtant because they are) Í sit in my apartment on weekends. Every move I make is trying to find someone to be with but that doesn't happen often. I act relaxed and pretend I'm not lonely and desperate when I do have people around but they still lose interest. I have hobbies and talk to people with the same hobbies (music). Should I just give up? Is there anything left to try? 'm tired of being patient

well, i've been friends with this girl (well let's calll her) monica since i was like 10 years old (im only 14 now btw) and last year in gr 8, i started hanging out with another group; in it, a girl named bonnie and a girl named clarissa. in gr. 7, monica kinda made fun of bonnie about her clothes and stuff and i never really liked it. this year in gr. 9, monica's hangin out with bonnie and im more with clarissa. which is really weird cuz monica's being a real hypocrite. i gotta say that bonnie's more "girly" and stuff this year and more brand name-ish and now their really good friends. im hangin out more with clarissa and we're really good freinds too and we know whats going on with our friendship (meaning me, clarissa, bonnie and monica) and we dont wanna be freinds with just each other, but with monica and bonnie too. is there anything i can do?

Does anyone else in their early to mid 20s have a hard time making friends? Sometimes I feel like taking out a classified ad in the paper. It's so hard to meet people if you don't go to church and don't do something like scrapbooking or aerobics class or social groups like Kiwanis or Rotary or whatever. I consider myself intelligent, creative, and passionate, and I find that most people I meet have very different values and hobbies than I do. It's tough to find common ground. So how do you make friends? I'm especially interested in hearing from creative types--you will know what I mean about the need for fellowship with others like us. But regardless, I'd appreciate any input.

well, i had a crush on her and i was talking to her for awhile, but i think i might have been a little rash so now i think i scared her away. she blocked me from her AIM and im not sure how to approach her. iv gotten over her and now i just want to be friends. how can i show her this?

I had a real good friend and she stop talking to me with no reason. I have send few e-mails over the last six month and send IM here and there. She does not respond to me, so should I gave up trying to talk to her or here and there send that e-mail and IM to see if she respond to me. I just feel that one day she will need to talk and by knowing I still think about her, I might be the person she needs to turn to. I don;t know maybe I have my hopes to high.

I got this friend who won't stop calling me and asking stupid hw questions (he called me 4 nights in a row, sometimes as late as 12am). I don't know what to do? I'm 5 days away from a huge exam and I can't study when he keeps annoying me. Should I be honest about it and tell him not to call me again or should I help him and do my own studies at a later time? Some of my friends on myspace are my niece, nephew and my friends in real life. My best friend promised me that she will do photoshop with my pictures.

Anyways, a boy who is a hottie gives me compliments about my pictures. So, now, she don't want to do photoshop on my pictures because she knows that hottie boy is going to comment on it. UGHHH......... She is pretty and she got a boyfriend, I don't know what's going on here.

I told her to forget about the whole photoshop and she is still ignores me. What did I do wrong?

ive known him a little over a year and just recently ive had feelings for him.. strong feelings. I dont think its a good idea to go for it because he has so many strings attached, he has a 16month old girl.. who lives 21/2 hour drive away with the mom. He has a another girl friend who is in love with him and they are what i would call friends with benifits. Our relationship is really different we can talk for hours and we ALWAYS have a great time when we hang out, drunk or sober. Sometimes when im too drunk to drive home he lets me crash in his bed and he never pulls a move we just cuddle. We flirt alot but he flirts with lots of girls. and if i did ask him out and it didnt work out it would probably be really akward because we have mostly the same friends.. what do i do! does it sound liek maybe a little crush i could get over??. Its hard to hang out with him and not be thinking about what it would be like to kiss him or date him or things like that. advice?

ok dont ignore this question just because im a student!
well i want to do better this year at school and to stop talking a lot because it got me into a lot of trouble. well ever since kindi, i was a smart student top in every class never failed, but last year i just got into trouble more and my marks went a bit down ( i passed everything though), and i also became friends with a girl and everyone thought she changed me. this girl left the skool and now is my chance to get better.

so anyway... i want to stop talking in class, although my friends would want to sit next to me and talk and if i just completely ignore them they would hate me. so what do i do if they start talking to me in class?

just finished divorce 5 mons ago.i have a 8yr old son that i have joint custody with my exwife with and i have him half the time.i pay her 15% of what i make(child support) on top of that i pay most(80/20) of daycare cost and healthcare.now this is what the court ordered and i don't have a problem paying this.the problem is my ex with try to guilt me into paying for other stuff like sport stuff,swimming lessons,camp fees ect.now i'm not rich and having a hard time just paying for the child support.when i have my son i buy him clothes,toys ect for my house but i feel that the other stuff should come out of the child support i pay her.please this is all new am i wrong in my thinking?should i also chip in for sport fees,school trips,camps even though i pay child support?
