I got this friend who won't stop calling me and asking stupid hw questions (he called me 4 nights in a row, sometimes as late as 12am). I don't know what to do? I'm 5 days away from a huge exam and I can't study when he keeps annoying me. Should I be honest about it and tell him not to call me again or should I help him and do my own studies at a later time? If you were in my shoes what would you do?

Your education comes first! Any friend should understand that. Definitely tell him, but tell him in a way that he knows it is for your future. If he is definitely a friend, he will understand, if he does not and keeps calling you...he is selfish and only cares about his problems and stupid questions...a friend like that you dont need.

If your friend is calling to just to chit chat, tell him/her to call you after the exam. But if your friend is calling you because he/she has the same exam to study and wanting help, then, you should help.

I would tell them the truth, and that they aren't the only one who needs to study, and that you have a life too other than helping them with homework.

ask him to only call you between certain times because you are studying and you really need to concentrate. if he continues call at odd hours then tell him not to call back.

Be honest with him and let him know how you feel and if he doesn't understand where you are coming from then to me he isn't concerned about you'll friendship.
