Yes. It is completely possible to just be friends with a person of the opposite sex. If the friendship evolves, then so be it, but that's not how all male and female relationships turn out. I've been really good friends with a lot of guys that I've never had and romantic relationships with. It's all about how you feel and if how you feel is just to be friends, then that's how it will turn out.

It depends in certain situations. There has to be an attraction between two people at first before they are able to fall for each other. If there is no attraction than obviously there will be no spark to cause them to have any feelings for one another. It also depends on their compatibility. If one is to have almost the same personality as the other or tend to like the same things that the other likes than most likely they will not fall for each other. Like they say "opposites attract". One last thing, sometimes people do not want to ruin the relationship that they have with that other person so instead of getting into something more serious they remain friends unless they are ready to commit.

Yes, yes and yes.
You dont fall in love or have sex with everybody you meet. Some people are just friends and remain as friends.
Even ex-lovers who had broken off, still managed to remain as friends. It's all in the mind. There are just some people who meets the opposite sex and have no intention whatsoever besides being a friend.
Good Luck

I've had lots of male friends in my life. People always think a male & female together will eventually lead to something more. It doesn't always. If the two people don't feel that way for each other, they shouldn't let it go further.

I'm not sure that this is possible. Why? Well, how you say they can fall for each other and then what.............. starts problems - why you speak with this boy/girl? why you late? and so on and so on. Then the friendship began to lost. But if woman/man is homosexual then it possible they be friends and stay friends for long time. I'm not telling that is not possible but it's 1 on billion or trillion.

Yes, I think it's possible for men and women to be friends. If there is no physical attraction but mutual respect and interests, I don't see why not.

well if there's any phsycal attraction, then yes they most likely will fall for eachother. (damn hormones). but if they feel like they're better off as friends then you'll both be on the same page and not try to become more.

Sometimes they do, it depends on if there is something there more than friendship. There are many though who have male friends, but never ended up in a relationship.
