hi everyone, me and my boyfriend broke up at the beginning of december and at the weekend after 4 months we saw each other and saw his son. we have been together for seven years and have realised we really still each other. I can see a huge change in him in those four months and really believe that he has changed, hes a much nicer person and such a better father to my little boy. I feel he has realised what he has lost due to living with his family which arnt too great and supportive. We have broke up once before, but feel if we live apart and he proves himself we could be a family again . My son would love that, has anybody been in a similar situation where you have been reunited and they have changed ? thanks guys xx

well my gf broke up with me last march after we had been together for about 2 years. . . she started hanging out with this guy i knew from hs the next day and she knew i hated him and she proceeded to mess around with him like a week after we broke up which was really inconsiderate to me. The reason for the breakup was that she wanted to date around and she said she knew we would get back together sometime. Well it has been almost a year now and they have been together ever since(even though only officially for about 6-7 months) but anyways . . i tried to get her back for the first 2 months and it wasnt going anywhere so I went nc in june and i have been ever since. for the first 6 months she would try calling, texting, emailing . .anything to try to get me to talk to her. . even emailed me on our anniversary that said "today was 2 years" . . she would try to contact me on average every 1-3 weeks for 6 months. she even tried to get me to hang out with her . . continued below

she even tried to gee me to come to her bday party when he was going to be there . .knowing that it would cause a fight . . .then there was a break from december till just a week ago when she sent me another email saying "just wondering if ur done hating me yet". .. i just dont get it . .. she seems happy from what I can tell . . she going on sb with her bf and everything . . why is she trying to contact me after 9 months of me not contacting her back? . . what does she want? What do u think is going on in her head?

Ok... So i like this guy. He somtimes seems like he likes me but somtimes seems he doesnt. He says he likes me somtimes, idk if i can believe him though. I asked him who he liked yesterday and he said two other girls but he said he doesnt know. He might of not said me cause he is worried that i dont like him anymore because i madeout with a guy a couple of days ago. I just did it for fun. He is really confusing me and i just want to tell him that i like him but i hate being rejected. What should i do?

My husband is a wonderful, giving person (married 3 yrs). However, he has zero interest in sex. He has seen doctors and everything is fine - it's psychological. He’s not gay, not cheating. He has Erectile Dysfunction (pills haven’t helped). We had some sex early in the marriage but it was infrequent. Now it's about ONCE PER YEAR and only if I initiate. I am not even sure I was "in love" with him when we married. I was VERY overweight at the time and felt that was the best I could do. I've since had gastric bypass and look and feel good. I'm 37 years old. If I want to have children time is running out. I fear that if I end this marriage I will take a serious risk at not being able to have children. I feel guilty about potentially leaving him because he's such a good, kind person...but on the other hand this isn't a "normal" marriage. He says he wants to fix this and sees the therapist, but nothing changes. I worry that I won’t be able to find someone else that is as wonderful as him.

That with deep love you can overcome almost anything in a marriage? Aside from abuse and murder, you know all the felony type things.

I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy. Let's face it, friends make life a lot more fun.

he said that I spoke badly about his great grandma on his dads side and that is totally off the wall.I think the world of her and I dont know why he said this because it caused a big big fight with my daughter and soninlaw.my soninalw told my daughter he was going to take full custody and my grandson is hearing all this and so he starts freaking out.he has morte money and if he trys to do this he could win because we all know that this is how the system works.I seem to get caught up in so much bullshit in this marriage .Im feed up with it.My grandson is 11 and I dont know what he has against me.I played football with him yesterday after school, went to the store for a candy bar, walked him down to his friends house and made him his favorite meal.what gives? I cant go to his dad because he will only be having a one way conversation.he hates me because i am her mother

Do you feel that you need something more practical from a partner or it is still the idea of love and passion a priority in your lives?
Would you marry a woman that you don't love because she will take care of you in your old age and leave behind a woman that really loves you but that perhaps it is more independent?

I know it depends in the person, but I am curious about your opinions. Thanks

The friend who drags her friend away when I'm talking to is rude. Especially it seems like the girl I'm talking to is interested in me as well.

So why is it that some girls do that and the one I'm talking to follows her friend? Isn't that weak? I mean really how do you expect to meet any guy if you have a friend like that?
Do you suppose the girl friend who takes the friend away is a lesbian and so she doesn't want her friend to get picked up?

In my opinion the friend who interrupts her friend and takes her away is not a good friend because what if the guy she's talking happens to be the one she could be happy with?

My wife and I are (I thought) happily married, with two adorable little girls. We're in our early 40s and live in a big, expensive city. My wife has always wanted a third child; I have resisted, thinking that as great as it might be, our resources and time and energy are already maxxed out. So -- horror of horrors -- we finally have a beautiful night alone, and the inevitable happens. We don't use birth control, and now she is pregnant and we are facing a fork in the road with two horrible outcomes: either we have this baby, which will put a huge strain on us; or we abort, and live with the consequences. In many ways I feel I am getting what I deserved for not using birth control, and that on some level I obviously either wanted this baby, or wanted this ghastly choice. Now, we are trying to stick together and get through this together, but my wife is furious at me for putting her in this situation. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated, as I now fear for my marriage.

me and my husband are a young couple we've been together for five years and have only been married for less than a year. we have a 15mo old daughter. she's wonderful. lately for a couple of months now, me and my husband started growing apart. we've changed in many ways, it's come to the point that i feel like were just roomies that share a pet KID. we love our daughter very much and don't really want to seperate, the only way we can really get rid of each other is if we break any marriage laws, such as dying and cheating. both of which were not planning on doing. anyway, i'm pretty much the only one that's unhappy in the relationship. i need to be loved and comforted...i need that rock that i used to hold on to whenever the waves of life drag me down...he used to be wanting when it comes to sex...now he doesn't even mention it...what's going on? i've been a good wife...could he be cheating? honestly if that is the case I'd be more than happy to get rid of him. it's sad...wut can we do?

Hi,
I think I had an anxiety attack last week. I am not sure if it's possible for a guy or not. But I basically broke down in tears on the phone with a friend. I wasn't even calling to talk about that. It was to talk about other stuff. The problem is, I really like her more than a friend and am not sure if I would have lost her respect or anything. What should I do?

She was feeling guilty about some stuff I volunteered to help here with, but I told her it wasn't her fault. I also told her why I basically broke down, was that smart or not? Advice much appreciated.
