Do you feel that you need something more practical from a partner or it is still the idea of love and passion a priority in your lives?
Would you marry a woman that you don't love because she will take care of you in your old age and leave behind a woman that really loves you but that perhaps it is more independent?

I know it depends in the person, but I am curious about your opinions. Thanks

Love is love at any age. The only thing that changed with me when I reached 60 years old was I appreciated women "even more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow."

If God created anything better than a woman He kept her in Heaven for Himself.

In my early years, I wanted a woman that I loved and one that loved me. I was lucky. We were married for 33 years, had a family, white picket fence, the whole nine yards. Only her fatal accident brought down the curtain on our love affair.

Now I date, buy dinners, pour the wine , bed them down when I get lucky.

I will marry again. However, I am not looking for a care taker nor do I want to be one. In fact, the girl I am going to marry is so young, (at heart), we have her registered at Toy R Us.

When passion abounds, who can be logical or practical ?

Like good wine, life gets better with age.

Both Parties are going to answer this question

Gilligan: I'm 24 years older than my wife...I'll be turning 50 soon. With my first wife...she had went to get the mail and I accused her of cheating on me..it led to a lot of fights which ended in divorce. Choices I made then were stupid...criticizing her too was stupid...my wife now is 25...yes you heard me she's 25 years old...She has taught me a lot about different personalities women have...Since my current wife was raised in the little bit of the old and new school era..she understands my upbringing...as well as I understand hers. I do sometimes get jealous..but I have realized that she was loyal in the beginning of our relationship...she will always be faithful.

Violette: I can not complain about my husband...we meet about 10 years ago...so we've known eachother...but not as well as now...It can be difficult when two different era's become one...he's a flirt I'd admit...sometimes I join in the fun to flirt with him...You have to bend a little to enjoy being with someone like Gilligan..We are very comitted to eachother...lol...my step children are my age or a little older than me..they call me mom believe it or not...so I don't know how Gilligan may feel...but like every couple...we have our good and bad days...

Gilligan: The best part about it is that we are both counselors so we get to counsel eachother...and I don't know how long GOD is going to keep me here...but Violette makes me happy and I enjoy my life more now than I did then

What is love???
At the age 60 and older, what is important is companionship, communication, compatibility and friendship. I am at a stage in my marriage that none of this exists and if I could, I would fall in love with a women who could offer the above.
I am a man aged 74

I,am only forty...But I do feel the older we get the more we are looking for true love...before it was just how often I get laid...if I can catch look see from a man...do I still have what it takes..you wonder these things...but as you get older sex becomes more fun and lasting...and you want more play time....your allot more flirty.....but again it is more serious I believe....not all just games like when I was young...that's my point any ways....

The older men get, the fewer our options are. We take what we can get. All men are pigs, even old ones, and the only thing we are really interested in is.........
